Bekka & a Dave Mason Question

Went to see Bekka perform with her band last night and it was a blast! The shows are informal enough that everyone feels like a bunch of friends sitting around the living room, yet the talent is undeniably professional. Her band is: Chas Sanford, Dave Santos, Charlie Judge, David Scheibner, and Nick the drummer (forgot his last name!). Chas sang a couple of his songs including "Talk to Me" with the proper pronunciation of "neglect". (as in "a wound gets worse when it's treated with ......".) ;)

As for the Dave Mason part of this post... during Bekka's show, just as she was ending a song, her microphone came apart. Afterwards, we were talking about it and she mentioned she was just glad she didn't get shocked and times that she has, etc. She then mentioned a guy in one of Dave Mason's bands that was electrocuted and killed on stage... but we couldn't think of the specifics. :shrug:

I knew if I posted here I would have the answer before dark tonight! :nod:

Musicians I know to have been electrocuted are:

Les Harvey of Stone The Crows - on stage at a soundcheck

Keith Relf of The Yardbirds - playing guitar in the bath

John Rostill of The Shadows - at home in his studio

I think there was a French pop singer who stood up in the bath to change a light bulb - not sure about that one.

Not sure about anyone who played with Dave Mason.
