I was just thinking, wouldn't it be great if there was a Ledge town or subdivision?!
Wouldn't we have the best time. Have a huge projection screen and watch all kinds of FM/Stevie videos in someones backyard or in the cul-de-sac.
Have Stevie BBQ's and you'd always have someone to go to concerts with.
This would be my utopia.

I'd prefer a Bob Welch subdivision. I'd live on Christine McVie Avenue. We could all hang out at John McVie's Pub. Mick could be the town's financial advisor(or village idiot). Lindsey could.....um......wash dishes at McVie's Pub. And Stevie? Oh, she just waits tables at McVie's!;)

That is a f*cking fabulous idea. There'd be little neighbor squabbles between like, Bob Welch, Peter Green, Stevie, etc. fans.
"Turn down that crap, I'm trying not to go crazy up here!"
"No, you turn your crap down! I only turned my crap up to drown out your godawful crap!"
"Your singing is sh*t!"
"F*ck you, your guitar sounds like dying cats!"
"I don't want my kids being taught a new Mac religion, so don't play your nasty Stevie CD's when my kid comes over to play!"
"Screw you, your kid is 10 times smarter since he's been hanging out at my house, and finally he's learned to dance!"
Brilliant, I say. I wonder who would live on the good side of town? That's the thing, the neighborhoods would probably be totally mixed, fanwise.
Okay, sorry, this is way to great of a concept for me not to talk about.
I think the Behind the Mask lineup fans would complain at town council meetings how they are underrepresented, and this is their town, too.

If there was an actual Ledge community, I'd be that crazy lady at the end of the street that nobody likes but everyone grudgingly tolerates because they can't seem to drive her away.
  Omigod, that is totally what I was thinking about for the Time/BTM people, but it seemed too harsh. Except there would be, like, 7 of you.
Bwahhhhh!
P.S. Those incarnations comparitively suck. Nyeah - See, right here! right here we'd have a neighbor fight! And knowing my income, I'd live right above Miss Vicky  - You know, in that apartment? The one with the distant view of Homie's pool? Me and Miss Vicky would pass each other on our bikes, going to PetFoodExpress to buy our little assholes (pets, I love em) the best food...
Okay, that was a projection of what I do now, as PetFoodExpress is right up the block, but still, I can see it...Or maybe Vicky would be a manager there, and not notify me of 10 dollar off coupons...yeah, that happened today. So they gave me a 10 dollar bag of cat food. I lamely digress.
Also? My cats don't like the organic Paul Newman food. :( Stupid bitches. I'm all trying to buy **** with organically free range chicken parts, but no. No, of course the cats will be assholes. Which is why I love them. lol. (I love all other animals, too, except some bugs, which I only love in an abstract way - tarantulas are the coolest pet bug I can think of. I like snakes a lot, too. And turtles, and frogs. Yeah, so most pets. But mainly, millions of people in my neighborhood have dogs, and I swear I've petted every one of them. Repeatedly. There are people that are always around with their dogs, and I visit with the dog every time, and remember the dog - even if the owner doesn't remember me - and always stop and say hi to the dog. You know how dogs are, they love everyone. And I love every dog. Okay, I admit, I have dog envy, and can't wait to get my own. But I also pet and feed all the random neighborhood cats. Then I go on little walks, or rides, and pet the new cats I meet there, too. Lots of cats are actually way friendly and cool.)
Okay, I'll stop. I think I have pets on the mind b/c I spent a bunch of money on mine today (stupid 50 dollar advantage) Oh, and plus Homie and Vicky make me think of animals. Which is great, it is my favorite thing to think of. Also my favorite "people" to meet.

High praise indeed(seriously).
Cash had a tumor removed from his neck on Monday. It was a tiny lump, that had, in the past ten days, gotten HUGE(almost the size of a baseball). It was some huge abscess. I'm not really sure if it was actually related to his cancer, but still, his white count was going through the roof, and he hadn't felt well for a week, so it had to be removed($600!!!, but to be fair, that included a chemo treatment). I am sooo headed for the poor house. BECAUSE- I finally-after a month of waiting- got a call from U of IL yesterday, concerning a possible Melanoma Vaccine. It turns out, U of Wisc is doing studies on a vaccine, with a reasonable success rate(I've read 20-30%, but also read 40%). I contacted the researcher in charge of the study today(who amazing actually answered the phone!). Firstly, she was AMAZED that Cash is......well,...... still alive, in month 20(most melanoma dogs are deceased within the one-year mark). But, they require a 2K donation to their program for treatment(which they will ship each dose, overnight, before treatment(it has to be kept at -70, in liquid nitrogen, so they can't ship more than one dosage at a time- unless my vet has that temperature capacity, due to performing cryogenic surgeries- which I doubt that they do).
Anyone know any rich, philanthropic type of folks, who'd like to donate 2K to U of Wisc? But, regardless, I guess, somehow, I will make it happen, even if I can't afford it.

Omigod, that is so expensive. But I would spend it, if I had it, in a heartbeat for my boy. I wouldn't think that would be related to his Cancer either, but I'm sure his immune system is compromised. So if it wasn't related, he probably didn't have the immune to fight it off. :( I know it sounds suck, but it is good you had the money to pay for that - I wouldn't, and I'd be crushed if my little Spanky goalie shortstop DogCat (he's like a dog, greets me at the door, follows me, fetches...etc) super loyal sexy man fell prey to a big sickness. I'm considering saving for it. So, I understand.
I feel almost like I know Cash, too - I totally want to pet him and meet him. You know, all dogs are good dogs. It's like they are here as a reminder of pure goodness. If I feel that way, it totally makes sense that you feel that spending is justified. I agree with that. That's your boy, your good, best boy. My pets are my best friends, even though I also have human best friends. As everyone knows, they're a part of you. The pure love and goodness part.

Oh my goodness! I didn't know the research had become that advanced! That is great news, the 2k isn't. I know people with money, but not that I could ask or anything. If I had it, I would send it to you in a heartbeat. You've done so much for him, getting in touch the whole way with cutting edge researchers. I thought he was a goner, too, until you told us of that new medicine you got for him. 2k is a lot of money - I can't help but think someone on the other end is getting 1000 percent profit on that - it shouldn't be that much. Ah, the American pharmaceutical industry - is there anything more heinous? Besides the American insurance industry.
I dunno, 20-30% - maybe 40 - that isn't very high. All dogs have their day, and you don't want him to suffer -
Not sure - It's so hard to let a pet go. Especially a super sweet dog-man. I kinda feel that all my pets that have passed are with me still, but there is still a lot of pain there. And - they've all been cats. Not saying anything, but dogs and owners really, really, really bond. Because dogs are pack animals, and etc. They want to be with humans, want to be very close. My cats are very bonded with me, especially the one (dogcat) - but I think the bond with a dog is more intense.
okay, sorry, just ruminating. I'm heartbroken that it costs that much money to perhaps save your dog life partner, it seems so unfair, especially considering the totally innocent, benevolent nature of dog, and how important he is. And most animals. I guess I should stop talking about it.
I hope someone gives you 2k, Homie - If I come into 2k anytime soon, I'll send it your way. :xoxo:
Ever since you told us about Cash, I thought he'd pull through. And he has, really. He's a special dawg.
Good dog! Good boy! Who's a good boy!? Who wants a treat?! Sit. Sit. Gooboy! :p  :blob2:  (tell him I said that) :xoxo:

My god. After reading what all the gay boys (and Paula and Suze) think is fun, I'm going to have to hang out way over there, with Seeker and Homie and whoever else is a straight boy, and do normal things. Sports things, maybe. (I can get down with that mens V-ball, but it's because I actually like to watch V-ball). Go to some games with Ryan...The rest of you with your Golden Girls, and Designing Women and glitter - you just bored my ass off. Of course I'd never see Paula anyway, she'd be inside watching TV. Yes, that's right girl b*tches, I just claimed all the straight boys for my own. Such as they are.
My god, who would play catch with me?! It's like a nightmare. That's what street I'll live on, too - Nightmare street.

In fact, she my favorite backing vocalist ever! Warrant... she's sung with all of the best.

there's a subdivision on "Lindsey" Street in Norman, Oklahoma??? Wouldnt mind living near "Lindsey" in Norman since there's plenty of nice neighborhoods, But also plenty of "Boo-hoo Sooner" fans since "Lindsey" is in the heart of the University of Oklahoma.

Hell, I've got enough trouble with my own pool! Fall hit us EARLY this year. It's been too cold to swim for almost a month now. And, in August, I had a bunch of work, so....I neglected my pool(I put all the chemicals in, but I was too busy to really USE the pool{=stir it all up really well, which is very important, for all you non pooly types}), and now I'm left with the result.....algae!
I'm going to try and muster the WILL to close it, one day next week. My new winter cover(that's right, all you Californian's- we have to CLOSE our pools here) came yesterday.
Pools are ALOT of work, "sometimes"(for those who think it's a breeze)...
