So I was stressing this morning because the Lindsey pre-sale could not have come at a worse time. I only get paid once a month (something I'm still trying to get used to) So payday is not until the end of next week...
Anyway, in general I've been stressing about finances.
Well today I learned that I'm getting a raise starting next month :blob1:
I knew our fiscal year was ending, and everyone would be up for a raise but I just got here, I've been here three months, and the same thing happened in my last job - no raise because I was new (and that makes sense) but I guess they're just nicer here :p
I'm so happy because this couldn't have come at a better time. I'm looking at my Lindsey purchase this morning as a lovely reward :D

Yeah - the salary I get here in CO is much more competive and liveable than what I was getting in New York. Go Figure.
I still make less money than I could doing something else - but for now, I really like what I'm doing and that counts for a lot.
It was rough going getting settled in here at first - so I'm glad some good things are happening as well :o
