Thought I would let everyone know they played DOR on WNCX Cleveland today. The dj talked about the pronunciation of Rodeo (as in a street not bulls and cowboys and stuff ) and also mentioned the Lakewood show. Maybe DOR will be the single?

Yes! :blob2: That is cool, b/c I actually just wrote a bitching email to my radio station for the fact they haven't even mentioned his solo release, and they are usually up on all that kind of stuff.

Well, considering "Tusk", "Go Insane", & "Big Love", it's not usually his Modus Operandi.

That's why I don't understand.

Probably "reverse psychology". He's pushed his "quirkiness" previously (and we've seen the results...or lack thereof)...this time he's probably being persuaded to "go safe".

Nothing wrong with putting one's best foot forward as far as I'm concerned.

I can't believe the day has come when DOR has finally hit the airwaves. :blob2: :blob1:

Well, Joe, I must say that I immediately thought that that was cool. The fact that it would make you happy, makes it bearable for me.

Cool. I know it won't happen, but I'd love to see this even be a minor hit single. I love this song so much, any recognition it gets is good as far as I'm concerned.

I had e-mailed my local station (WTTS FM 92.3) that I would imagne to be Lindsey-friendly... Hopefully I'll get him out there enough to add a show (ala the B/N following in Alabama... Indy is the new Alabama) the reply:

"Hi Zach,

I've been told that we should have new music from Lindsay in the next week or so. We'll definitely feature it on New Music Monday and perhaps play it more. I'm looking forward to hearing it too. Thank you for listening to WTTS and have a great weekend!

Wheeeee! Yesterday a local station played a couple of FM songs and then mentioned that Lindsey's solo release would be hitting the shelves on Oct. 3rd. I was impressed that the dj actually knew that. Of course, then he said that the tour kicks off in Wisconsin on Oct. 17. Wrong!:p

This station won't play his new stuff, though. It's 70's/80's station.

I think Down on Rodeo would make a GREAT first single. I played it for a couple of my friends and they really liked it. I think its the best out of the batch of songs that we already have...

i have to say, i don't really care for any of the new tracks... they seem a little dull to me... i think maybe i'm expecting OTC II... and we know he doesn't like his music to sound the same.. album to album...

i'm really anticipating the electric/jam album now

i'll still go see him because I wouldn't miss it for the world, but I hope the show has more energy than the new songs seem to lack to me....

just my two cents.... i'm also hoping more listens will get me to go... "ok that is a great song!"

Put them on repeat and they reveal their strength.
By the way, where did you get the info for the "jam"-addition in your description of the second electric new album?

Dunno, maybe I missed one:shrug: but I don't think so:laugh: .

I only read that the other album was more an electric-rocking one. Jammin'...I'd love that.....
