Peter Bogdanovich, the director, has been following the band for the last year or so, and all this tour. He's filming the band and putting a documentary together in celebration of the 30th anniversary of Tom Petty and The Heart Breakers... I'm sure we will see Stevie at some point during this as well. They've been spotted filming at numerous shows, including the ones Stevie's been at. Some say it will be this documentary plus a live show. Gainesville sounds like it might be that show. Would make sense, it's his home town.

Yah. If Stevie's hair is perfect and her make-up is flawless and the angle is right and there's not too many close-up's and her vocals are spot on and the wind was blowing the right way, she just might not want to be edited out

They filmed the Houston show. There was a cameraman right behind the last row of the pit. You can see him in lots of my pictures. It was definitely a film camera, and not the guys projecting images on the screens.

Based on Stevie's vocals that night, her performances should be in the film. Bitch was on fi-yah that night. But yeah, like Theresa said, who knows if it will get her approval. But I wonder if she even gets to have approval?? It's not her project. I hope Peter's in love with her and puts lots of Stevie footage in there. :D

The show is at the O'Connell Center - which is the indoor sporting arena on the University of Florida Campus - so this in an indoor show. Not that La Nicks can't have the wind blowing on her indoors.

Also, just an FYI - Stevie played with TP at the UF Homecoming show in 1981 - so here were are exactly 25 years later playing the same event.

(I went to UF - Go Gators!)

They are also saying this Florida show is going to be live on the radio...... windfm.com but I'm thinking it isn't an on line thing--you have to be able to listen to the radio station......... anyone from Florida on here that can record this???? It sounds like they have a bunch of people from the Tom board that are going to try to record it also.......

this is weird. 2 occurences of my 2 favorite singers colliding in a way.

1 - there's a Barbra Streisand montage on YOUTUBE set to Landslide and now
2 - Peter (Barbra's ex-boyfriend and director of some of her movies) is directing this DVD.

:D
