Be ware something as you cross the great water, and strangers that dont look at you and it ends with "the keeper of time is blind". This does exist right, was it a song? can anyone tell me about this, where its from, what are the words? This is diferent from the "D-day" poem too right? am i crazy?

watchdevil!

Lovely soft faded jeans...
A very soft shirt in a light blue
Perfect dreams and a watchchain
Becomes you...
You're just a watchchain...
And it becomes you
A watchchain...
A watchchain...
Watchdevil...keeper of the time...

Lovely soft tired face...
Touching fingers through the kitchen lace
I think that I should hold your hand...
I'm hurting darling, do you understand?
Well, I'm hurting, darling...
Do you understand?
Watchdevil...keeper of the time...
Watchdevil...

Be aware of the danger...
As you cross the great water...
Be careful of strangers
Who are new to your eyes...
Beware of the people
Who look not straight at you...

The keeper of the time is blind...
The keeper of the time is blind...
Well, the keeper of the time is...blind...
Watchdevil...
Keeper of the time...
Keeper of the time...
Keeper of the time...
Watchdevil...

I am happy, and kind of not about this, I love that quote, I think it is beautiful. But the *one* time i heard watchdevel. I didn't like it at all. But we know, stevie moves lyrics..enchanted/destiny, Illume/destiny rules, ect, so maybe, the lyric will show up again. Hey carrie, Do you have the d-day poem ?

I've always thought this song was about Mick, the "keeper of the time."

Anyway, here's the cleanest version that I have of it from the Living Room Demos:

You're welcome. :wavey: I have one hard drive dedicated solely to my Stevie/Mac collection. If that isn't love, I don't know what is.

If I ever get stuck on a stevie/Fm lyric, I usually go to http://buckinghamnicks.net/ and then go to the lyrics/speculation index. At the top there is a place where you can type in partial lyrics and it will give you the song. This has come in handy MANY-O times for me!!! just for future reference :) glad you found out what it was! I've never heard it before, but I've not heard very many demos.

nifty little number....first time I heard this one was when I got the Cathouse Blues "album". The intro seems to go on a bit long, but I always liked it. As I understand, it falls into the "coffee plant" sessions catagory.

Yes, I can definately relate. My hard drive was getting so full of SYW and just other FM/Stevie MP3s, video clips, etc... I had to burn them off to CD's as data discs. I guard them under heavy security with lock and key. No, not really, but would be devistated if something happened to all of that stuff I have collected over the years.
