Did anyone else see it? Angela had made a black dress with a lot of fringe on it for one of the other member's mother or sister (I cant remember who her model was). Anyway...after the walk down the runway, Michael Kohrs said that the dress was way too young for the model and that it looked more like Stevie Nicks in black than an everyday woman's dress. Woo hoo!!

I'm still not sure what MK meant by that...the syntax is throwing me off a bit.

I replied on chit-chat but I'll say it here too: Angela was going for an Audrey Hepburn look and Michael made that comment because she ended up with Stevie Nicks. I don't think it was a slam toward Stevie, he just used her as an example of another celebrity look - the one she ended up with.

The design was non-descript, flowy, black, with an uneven hem.

IMO His comment shows he is aware of Ms.Nicks' stage dress, but this was not a compliment to the design (made obvious with his further comments.)

And look at the poor model having to wear it, "Um, I don't think so."

The model looks like the actress/comedian who plays Meredith on the US version of The Office. (She's the one that always hits the bottle). That outfit is an insult to my eyes.

the designers had the challange of designing for the 'everyday woman' (their mothers and sisters, who are not professional models and much harder to work with) however, they were not allowed to design for their own family member...i think m.k.'s comments were about not fitting into the everyday woman concept...it's hard to see in the photo but the dress had several layers that were trimmed in black fringe...i think that's what made it 'stevie nicks' in black...though we all know our girl has WAY more style than that!

I knew this would pop up the minute I heard it lol. But actually he said it looked more like Stevie Nicks black than Audrey Hepburn black since the designer was trying to create something more Hepburn.
