A suggestion for the European tour (Mari and I were talking about this the other day):

Lindsey flies to United Kingdom in tourist class with just two or three guitars, spare strings and his effect boxes. Only one guitar technician should travel with him.

Lindsey plays only small clubs or moderate size venues like Paradiso or Tavastia. He travels from country to country by train or bus, crossing over from the UK to the Netherlands and then to other European countries. Including Finland!

The accommodation for Lindsey and his technician will be arranged by his fans; he can sleep on our floors. I'm going to buy lots of wheat thins for this already.

All of this only on the condition that none of us will stalk him to death.

There, this way he'll earn a bit of money to buy more spare guitar strings.

(Of course it's just a dream and the spoiled brat will never do it, but what the hell.)

Change Paradiso to Vera (or add Vera). (Because it's murder to get out of A'dam late at night if you want to use our railroad  ) And Vanessa already beat me to it, but I have a very nice bed too:angel:

(Of course it's just a dream and the spoiled brat will never do it, but what the hell.)The idea of Lindsey touring solo in Europe is . . . well, pretty ridiculous.

In fact, the idea of Lindsey touring solo in his own country is pretty ridiculous.

Because of Lindsey or because of his homecountry?

I know it's unprecedented, but why wouldn't he tour here? I simply can't believe it would be anything but a sell out if it was promoted reasonably. Even tickets for one of the dodgy Fleetwood Mac cover bands sold quite well here in Oxford...people are desperate!

The "why" might have something to do with how much it costs for him to travel to Europe with the crew etc. The promotors were not all that keen on sending Fleetwood Mac to Oz because of the massive expense. Its just not profitable. If he had very few backing members and he did not demand a private jet and fifteen limos and an entire floor of the best hotel for the family, maybe it could happen.
