I saw Heart last night. I had a blast!! Spectacular show, and the crowd was on fire. They covered The Who's, Love Reign O'er Me. I cannot get that song out of my head now.

Yes ma'am. Security was non existant. I couldn't believe it. They never checked my bag going in, and I never saw any throughout the concert.

I remember it being the same way for Styx- my mom was so worried they'd take her camera, but they didn't even look at us going in and didn't care that she was taking them all night.
I saw Ann & Nancy once in Topeka- we drove to the PAC to see them do a solo show, but I've never seen Heart. Thanks for posting your pictures! :)

great pictures. I've only had the pleasure of seeing Heart live once and it was amazing. I always tell my story of how Ann's voice, acapella, made the walls of the House of Blues in New Orleans shake...I can't remember now what song it was, but it was an awesome experience.

Nice photos, Lisa! I saw Heart back in 1978 and Walter Egan opened up for them.

Wow, wish it could have been like that at the last concert I went to last month. Security was horrible.
Thanks for posting the pics. :wavey:

Nancy was and still is mega-cool!
Heart was actually one of my first 5 (?) concerts ever..... BeBe LeStrange tour.
Of course, my FIRST was FM on the Rumours tour!
Amazing how these two bands are STILL SO MUCH better than what they call "music" today.
Those were the days......

I love Heart - They have never been big in New Zealand though :( The only well known tracks are 'Barracuda' and 'These Dreams', the rest of their stuff nobody has any idea about :distress:
Im still looking for a copy of Heart's newest album here, I saw it once, and went back to buy it the next day, and it had gone!

AWESOME pics!!
I love me some Heart. My first concert was Bob Welch opening for Heart on the "Magazine" tour. I have been a fan ever since. Met the sisters in Austin in the mid 80's. Saw them last on the Jupiters Darling (AWESOME CD, btw) tour with my beloved Livia and my ex boyfriend who told me at the time, "There is no cooler woman in rock n roll than Nancy Wilson!". LOL
Wish the sisters Wilson were coming near Texas...they truly are a class act and they ARE the heart of rock n roll.
thanks again for those pics...Love them!

Great photos!!
I saw Heart last month at the Del Mar fairgrounds. I'd like to see them again at the LA county fairgrounds, but is seems all that's left are really crappy seats. (although the seating chart isn't very clear) It'd be a 2 hour drive for me and I'd go if I could get my hands on some decent seats. Anyone got any suggestions??
