Mt brother is the one who introduced me to his music and its FANTASTIC! So we got tickets to his Atlanta show at Smith's Olde Bar. Well the tickets said 21 and over and my brother is only 18 but we thought we'd take a chance. Pete was also doing an in-store show and signing and we went to that. So Andrew started talking to everyone who seemed involved with the band including Pete about trying to get him in. They said they would do they best they could but couldn't promise anything. So we hung outside the bar and to make a long story short I guess one of the owners decided to let him in. It was a great show, of course standing room only and I've never sweat so much in my life but maybe I dropped a pound or 2. Then after it was over we went downstairs and I was closing my bar tab and Andrew walked outside. When I walked out there he wasn't there adn so I texted him and he said he was upstairs with Pete. Turns out he was backstage hanging out with everybody. I just wish it was like that with all my favorite artists. Anyways check him out and I'll post some pics later.
Also if I wasn't engaged I would so be his groupie. :D

I care! Pete is a really nice man. I have dealt with him professionally before and would rate him high on the "Not An Ass" meter. His song "Strange Condition" off of musicforthemorningafter is a song that I have never, ever grown tired of listening to repeatedly.

I just got a copy of his new Westerns EP today and am really enjoying the new songs. Two of them feature Natalie Maines on backup vocals and one has Martie Maguire playing fiddle.
