I am a HUGE Scarecrow and Mrs King fan. I have been since I first saw the show when I was like 4 or 5 on channel 10. Even when I was a itty child I could appreciate some damn good sexual tension.
I love shows with that ( hence my life for X Files as well).
Anyway...all these horrible tv shows get to be on DVD.
SMK...which was on a solid 4 seasons ( 88 eps I think) doesn't get anything.
I am eagerly awaiting this show to make it on TV Land or at least DVD but nada. Why? It really makes me mad. It was a really cute show and my tapes are about to snap I have watched them so many times.

That's really sad! I used to watch that show every week with my mom when I was little. You're right, the lamest/weirdest things get put on DVD, but it seems like they look over a lot of good stuff.

That is odd, because that is one of about 3 shows that I didn't see much of but might buy to watch. I liked it, but my parent didn't is only why I didn't see it. I'd *also* get Magnum P.I., and Heart to Heart(Swoon!), and Mannix, and the one with Susan and that Jim guy (Rockford) as well.
Not to mention JAKE AND THE FATMAN, the one I want most of all. Biggest. Childhood. Crush. Jake.
Also Bionic Woman and etc. Those are probably out, though. Hey, guys, is Perry Mason whole series out?
I'd get all the Columbos, too. Hawaii 5-O? Get Smart? Peter Gunn? The one with Seargeant Joe Friday?
ABSOF*CKINGLUTELY!
Is there anything better than hour long crime/mystery dramas? In sexy settings? With fab money? And cheesily inspiring dramatic/sexy background music?!
I think not.
Fsnucking lamos, it would probably cost 2 dollars to make them, and fourty five billion people would buy them.
I'm making them at home, that's it!
Oh, I forgot Barnaby Jones, because I've never really seen it.
My order of "most watched" is:
Perry Mason
Heart to Heart
Mannix/Jake and the Fatman
Get Smart (the mom liked that one)
Most impression - Bionic Woman. I thought Lindsey was a good actress, I had a girl crush. And that jumping! And psychic?
But, I've only seen about 2-3 episodes. Still, she was the very most sincere of all the crime solving people. She looked very compassionate...and she was the prettiest...

I used to love that show! I also think it's about time they released Cagney and Lacey on DVD

Janet, if you have a high-speed connection, you can watch episodes of 'Scarecrow & Mrs. King' online at in2TV (http://television.aol.com/in2tv/scarecrow_mrs_king_tv).

JS-I actually saw that site..how cool is that? I am lucky enough to have tapes of the show. In 1991, it was on Family Channel so I taped it off there. But my tapes are only going to hold so long.
Amber..I loved Get Smart. That isn't on DVD either. What is with that??

I love the two actors. They really were their character. I mean, Kate Jackson changed her whole mannerisms. If you watch her on Charlies Angels then her on SMK...two different people.
And they are so good looking. Now I am watching it on that site JS pointed out...corny 2nd season European eps but still good. :):)

Janet, aren't you more interested in "The Odd Couple" than in "Scarecrow & Mrs. King"?

I forgot all about this show until I saw this. I liked it when it was on.

Holy crap, that's not on DVD yet? You'd think it would be.
I don't think any of these has been released yet (wait, I think Good Times has been, maybe), but I want:
Family Ties
Good Times
China Beach
