Sorry guys...ya'll might think I am the most AR Virgo on the map, w/ a personal grudge against Ebay lately...but I just hate to see this happen. Anyone that takes stuff off Ebay, erases the watermarks and uses it...well, it's a free world the internet, but to try and turn around and make a profit. It makes me SO irate! I posted this elsewhere, I must here as well, just in case. Please understand! :sorry:

You join a nice board w/ great folk, share some pics...and then the inevitable. It's happened before, why am I not surprised to see it happen to someone else??? I don't know. Some will say I'm overreacting, but I'm here to say, this is why I for one do not share rarities on sites. PM me I'll share the sun moon & stars provided you make some effort back to show me you are for real...but seeing this happen to the person that shared these pics out of the kindness of their heart really ticks me off. I might also add, that some of what Marcella has shared has also found it's way to Ebay "new and discovered." BS! I implore you all, cause I don't think this seller is on here to boycott. I saw those on Seven Wonders before I posted them here. The pictures weren't mine, of course, but I wonder who she stole them from. :eek:

As it is, I just really want to email her, and be like, "friend/schmiend" these were taken from sites, and you are now selling them. Fess up and don't do it again.
I don't "know" the person that shared them, but I DO know where they came from, and they were free. It's just wrong of her to be trying to make money on that fact.

Unfortunately I have bought a couple things from this ebayer in the past and I would say 9 times out of 10 they have always been copies......... taken from websites, etc. I'm sure :distress:

If I bought what I thought was a photo on standard photo paper & it was just a color-printer inkjet job from somebody's house, I'd be pissed off as hell & would demand my money back.

Why am I not surprised about this?!
When this person first returned to the online community and started trading again, I was willing to give her the benefit of the doubt even though a lot of people had said she was a bad trader in the past...I'd never had problems with her. About 5 months after my first and last trade with her, I see she's on Ebay selling bootlegs and photos. I removed her from 'good traders' list promptly and have never responded to any more of her trade emails. Unfortunately, I was one of the people who bought photos from her too. :distress: Since I'm always interested in buying photos, I always see her auctions, and within the past year I've seen a lot of sh*t taken from websites, and it seriously pisses me off. This is the same crap that someone else in the community pulled off for the longest time....(I'm sure BellaIllume will know who I'm referring to). Considering she was trading "photos" with that person on their photo/cd trading group for quite some time, I'm not surprised she's doing this crap. Just like the originator of the idea, she's found herself a way to make money from what can be found for free on the Net, and seriously rip off anyone who doesn't know about it.

i see that this auction says "bidding has ended for this item", w/out a bidder so someone musta got to her, they are no longer for sale, god i hope that this is the case & no one did buy these from her~

this kind of stuff ALWAYS burns me up...it's just another way for someone else to make a quick buck...i *could* do the same thing with all the wonderful trades i've gotten in the past too..though my conscience won't let me...trading is just that...trade for trade, no profit, no monies involed...why do people have to be so greedy????? grrrrrrrr.....

I've bought bootlegs off eBay -- many moons ago -- before I discovered the online trading community.
This sort of stuff really annoys me but I don't think there's much can be done to stop it, nor does it really surprise me...
It's especially crap to see fans ripping off other fans. :mad:
