I would love to see a coffee table book called "The Art of Fleetwood Mac". It would be roughly the size of an album. Many of the pages would be replicas of FM album covers, inserts (especially from Tusk) and the rest would be the original photos from the cover shoots, as well as outtakes, alternate cover ideas, what have you.

Any of you have any Fleetwood Mac "wish lists"?

Meeting, knocking back a couple bottles of wine, and playing music with Christine.
I could die content, after that.

Yes, a coffee table book like that would be pretty cool. Especially if there was a very large version of this picture...my personal favorite.

Which actually would have made a better cover photo (either front or back cover).

In the Tusk doc, it's SOOOOO hard to believe he's straight. He's such a nelly thing.

One of the reasons he should've never shaved off his beard.

The 80s haircut (We are the World, Go Insane..) didn't help him either

How dare you! There's no evidence, circumstantial or otherwise, that Lindsey Buckingham is anything but a well-adjusted heterosex...

I take it you were implying a better cover for 'Tusk'? I always thought that the inlay picture where they're in a room and Christine and John are at the front and Stevie is on the celling would've made a great cover photo for 'Tusk'.

Yep, that's a good one, too. I always liked that one as a potential cover photo, as well.

Hey...whattaya know, we actually agree on something! Hopefully, it's the first of many! :wavey:

I didn't realise how cheesey that sounded until I read it back. It sounded good in my head...honestly...

When he's recording the vocals for Walk a Thin Line, standing there with his hand twisted around on the back of his neck.......geez, King of the Sissy Boys!

Well, it was the 80's. Everyone was a bit nelly back then. David Bowie was sleeping with Mick Jagger, guys were wearing makeup. You know, it was just the time.

It could also have some of the actual art that FM members did. Lindsey's art is quite striking, IMO, and Stevie draws as well...I don't know about the others. Anyway, I think that would be a cool inclusion.

Chris has an art college degree. She drew the Kiln House album cover.

So funny you say this, Homer...my roommate and I were watching the doc and my roommate kept rolling her eyes to me, saying that even Stevie in the ballet segment was more manly than "the little elfin man". She still calls him Little Elfin Man to this day.

Mmmh .... age of the eyeliner .... *drooly*

By the way, in that picture he always reminds me of Michael Jackson. *ducks for cover, runs*

Actually I've always thought Lindsey is the only member of the band who has looked totally comfortable in each decade (and being high maintenance and looking a bit nelly was part of the eighties).
The others have always looked like Seventies people trying their best to fit in but not quite managing it.
