OK...so aside from songs purpousley done for soundtracks, what films or TV shows have had a Stevie or Mac song in?

"Planets of the Universe" was used in charmed episode 'The Demon Who Came in From The Cold' and "I Miss You" was used in 'Charmed Again Part 1'.

An obvious one, "Edge of Seventeen" was used in 'School of Rock'.

Thrown Down was on Friends. Yeah, I know it's TV, but you mentioned Charmed, so I thought it would be OK. :)

Can't recall the show - it was a crime show, but Peacekeeper was previewed or played - just before the release of the album?

I think "Say You Will" was used on some "That '70s Show" promos a few years back.

well, I am not sure if this counts, but Rhiannon was used in Slapshot (1977). I cannot say if a soundtrack was released or not. In fact, the vhs release and cable version had no music. I guess they had not yet worked out the royalties thing yet. The DVD does in fact have the music in it.

Yeah, that's the movie I was trying to think of earlier... It's in a bar or something like that isn't it - very faint background music, but to the trained ear, you could pick it up right away... I think it's uncredited too.

The One With The Soap Opera Party
Episode Number: 214
Season Numer: 9
First Aired: Thursday April 24, 2003

Here's a summary of the episode: Joey doesn't tell the gang about his plans to throw a party on the roof of the building. He also hides the fact that he's invited the "Days of Our Lives" cast, since the girls embarrass him when they meet stars. Rachel discovers the truth about the party and soon, everybody knows (except for Chandler). Ross meets a new colleague and, instantly attracted to her, invites her to the party. Rachel and Monica go the party and act like crazed fans while Ross is intimidated by Charlie's former boyfriends. Meanwhile, Chandler is at a play alone. At the end of the party, Rachel is looking for Joey and Ross is looking for Charlie, and they find Joey and Charlie kissing.

"Thrown Down" is played while Rachel talks to Monica and looks for Joey. It's a good episode and I think the music is fitting. Chandler is hilarious!

Landslide was on One Life to Live.

And Nightbird89, I think Against All Odds was the movie that Violet and Blue was on. Not sure though.

Yes it was. It would've made SUCH a better single release than bloody-Phil bloody-Collins "Against All-freakin'-odds"

Peacekeeper was featured at the end of an episode of Third Watch and wasn't Leather and Lace featured at the end of an episode of Cold Case?

And yes Say You Will was used on TV ad's for promoting the time slot and date change for that 70's Show.
