Isn't this the longest dry spell between new song/album releases for Stevie either solo or with Fleetwood Mac? She hasn't even released new material on a soundtrack since "Touched by an Angel" in 2001. And I don't count the Deep Dish version of "Dreams" since it is not new material. Also, I know she sang with Chris Isaak on his Christmas CD, but I don't think that really counts either.

well...Dreams is new material and the Xmas CD should count. plus she's been busy with her Vegas stint, Two Voices Tour, Gold Dust Tour, going to Australia, touring with Tom Petty, doing various "private" shows - the bitch has not stopped for a solid year it seems. but yeah, it sucks that it's been so long since an official, complete album release.

I'd rather not have an album if the label isn't going to promote it properly though.

wait...did I just say that? ;)

Well, it's been 3 years since SYW (holy crap) so no, not the longest - yet. There were 4 years between BTM & Street Angel (I'm not counting Timespace, since it was basically a "greatest hits" disc, with a few extras tossed in.) And if you consider The Dance and Enchanted to be "greatest hits" only, you've got 7 years from Street Angel to TISL.
