Hello,
I was wondering what happened with the website? I have been wondering for two years but thought that now was a good time to clarify why it isnt being updated anymore.
Thanks,
Alix

Just my conjecture:
The owner of the board just had had enough. The message board squabbles, the massive amount of time, energy & cost, etc.

yeah, it was awesome. I love thumbing through it all sometimes. it's still a great site, even without being updated.
It's still a great resource for discography and video information.

Burnish was a nice site.
And - I liked Tracy. But, the women on that site would just fight and fight and it carried over into the concert scenes when they would see each other. So, I don't blame her and I wish her well for I really liked her!!!!!

It's sad when it comes to that.

Not sure why Tracy didn't just eliminate the boards if that's where the problems were arising - but I suspect it would have just spilled over to another board.
I loved the site if for no other reason then the constant updates on the home page all day long. And where ever and when ever a macster was on the radio, you could for sure count on Burnish to have a connection to someone somewhere that could capture it and she'd post it right away for d/l... That was cool!

I love the site, and I even started to post on her message board some. Then, it all went bad. I hate it for her, for all of us. Maybe, one day, she'll decide to start updating it again.

Can't we plea to Tracy to return to Burnish? I do really miss the updates!!
I found burnish.net to be the most accessible when I began going on-line, so I miss it a lot. To be honest, I still find it a bit intimidating to post here.

Just my conjecture:
The owner of the board just had had enough. The message board squabbles, the massive amount of time, energy & cost, etc.If that the case why don't the owner just give it to someone else to Administrating the site??
I mean just give it to someone else to take care of the site so it can stay alive:(
I sing on there several months ago and my membership is still inactive:mad:

I agree that it was the most accessible-I never posted on the boards so I missed out on all of that-and the one thing I think no one has mentioned: Tracy was hilarious (I thought). She had an incredible knack as a "web mistress". She was always first with the most current updates and d/ls, and still manged to have these funny little personal sub stories going on in her updates that just cracked me up. I still go back and check every now and again hoping she has started it up again.
Does anyone know if she posts here at all?
TRACY, COME BACK, WE MISS YOU!!!
