Wasn't Christine up in Montreux, Switzerland, in 1983-84 to record her solo album?

I think she did 2 songs...one was Stand Back, but I can't remember the other. she also sang/rapped with Kid Rock. I've got a little snippet of it.

According to Vanessa, she did four songs -- Dreams, Stand Back, Rock and Roll (with Chic and Nile Rodgers), and Woodstock (with Kid Rock).

Cool pictures, thanks Daniel & Jack! She's really rockin' out here, isn't she?

Some of the others are kind of funny... she looks so uncomfortable in a few. Like this one:
http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j53/stevie-nicks-info/06_0630_mjf09x.jpg
Just an awkward moment for the camera to have caught her. I wonder if they were taken during Woodstock... it seems she's concentrating pretty carefully on a teleprompter down and to her right in many of the shots.

that's exactly what I thought too.

I didn't catch her looking down at any point during the 'Woodstock' performance. I shall check again, but I really don't think she was checking the teleprompter all that much.

I gotta tell you guys, I am salivating over these pictures! Is it just me or is this the best she's looked since The Dance? I don't know what it is but I'm in love...the hair, my God that's the best hair in ages without a doubt, the make-up is perfection, her energy and overall aura is astounding, especially after hearing the boot from the show! There's a sparkle in her eye I haven't seen in a while, these pictures made my week :blob1:. I don't know if it's the great quality of the photos but they are really something else.

Holy smokes those are closeup! She does look like she's into it though, must be that lake air! (Montreux's nice). So Kid Rock is there? I thought he sang heavy stuff, not jazz.

I think her eyes look half closed because:
1. She was, LORD LOVE HER, stoned
2. Her eyes are showing her age
3. She is wearing too much make up to hide her age
But, all in all, she looks great for an almost 60 year old woman.

You'll get all pissed off at me if I elaborate.:wavey:
She just looks a bit rough to me in a few of these shots. She's starting to show her age, and she usually hides it better. But, like Strandie says, she is damned near sixty.

She's a good-looking 60-year-old, for sure--rivaled only by--don't laugh--my Aunt Sharon.

I agree, I think she looks pretty rough in these pics, maybe I'm just not used to seeing such extreme close up pics of her. The eye make up is hideous, she should just spring for an eye lift and wear less make up.

Have you heard the vocal ? It is shocking.
She kicked ass. And you know I do not impress easily.

I think most people do not realize that stage make up, esp. at her age, tends to look scary up close.
I did not like the song, but the vocal was cool. I swear she should mix it up more.

She kicked ass. And you know I do not impress easily.Preach it. I swear, I didn't even have time to check her appearance, I was too blown away by her performance. On *all* the songs. She seriously kicked ass. Btw, on the Festival screens her make-up looked way less heavy than it does in these pictures, that's strange. I actually called someone up right after the show with a report and mentioned that her make-up looked more natural. Maybe I should have paid more attention, but as I said, I was too busy being mighty impressed.

I don't think she's showing her age now anymore than she was a year ago. I think that we rarely see pictures that really show what she really looks like. Fabulous as it is, she is almost 60 and her skin isn't perfect, but I will sell my soul to look that good at 60. As for her makeup, like some have said stage makeup is different than everyday makeup and I think Stevie's makeup, especially recently, has been amazing. I love her shadow crease thing...most of the time.
