So I was uploading Out Of The Cradle to my itunes today and I was reading through the liner notes. I never realized Bob Aguirre cowrote Say We'll Meet Again. Also, All Of My Sorrows has no copyright or author info? Walter Egan is credited with "woodcuts." What the hell is that?
It's interesting to note that Chris Lord-Alge mixed Out Of The Cradle. Wasn't Lindsey vehemently opposed to Lord-Alge mixing Say You Will? Why could that be? Out Of The Cradle was considered a critical but not commercial success. Lindsey has said this is what he considers most important.
OOTC was co-produced by Richard Dashut. Where is Richard these days?
Lastly, the photo of the Walt Whitman poem Out Of The Cradle Endlessly Rocking is written in longhand that looks like Stevie's handwriting.

The woodcuts are those pictures inside the booklet - the black ones...
I always thought it was extremely random that Walter Egan made woodcuts for Lindsey's album

Also, All Of My Sorrows has no copyright or author info? I think that's an old Kingston Trio number. Dave Guard or someone had just died (?), & Lindsey included the song as a tribute to him & to them.
It's interesting to note that Chris Lord-Alge mixed Out Of The Cradle.Yes, Lord-Algae did a bunch of stuff for Lindsey.

Why could that be?I don't think he was vehemently opposed. He was just trying to find a sympatico guy for that particular project. Just because you don't want to work with a particular mixer or producer or whatever for a specific project doesn't at all mean you hate that person's work. I think Lindsey has a lot of respect for Lord-Algae on the mixing board.

I think Lindsey has a lot of respect for Lord-Algae on the mixing board.I've always gotten a good chuckle at the segment in 'Destiny Rules' when Lindsey complains that Lord-Alge comes into the studio, listens to a track once, mixes it and then moves on to the next track.
Working so quickly probably gives Buckingham palpitations.
"Wha -- what d'ya mean you've finished it?!? You've only been here for 20 minutes! It took me 17 months to record that track!! I think I need to lie down."
