Is there something that makes a Malte-Poo a genetically superior dog compared to a regular Malteze or Poodle? And what about inferior genetic code? Twice as many bad traits or twice as many good traits... maybe both.

SuperGeneticDesignerDogs.... check 'em out - some R cute, others R well... scruffy looking. :p

"Goldendoodle", "Labradoodle".

That Puggle is sooo cute. I mean, they're all cute, but the Puggle is funny. The American Eagle, too. Hmm, I think I like Beagles. I've only met one Beagle, ever. Except Snoopy.
MinMinPoo is adorable.

That whole page should just be called "Super Yappy Brigade".

I remember when those were called "mutts" :p. Shih Tzu Cocker? That sounds like what I say every time I get on the 110...

Grr.... don't even get me started on this.

"Gee, let's purposely breed mutts and call them 'designer dogs' and sell them for lots of money and make people think they're some kind of rare and special thing. That way, all those regular mutts in the shelters don't get homes."

Pet Overpopulation - must be some kind of made up problem, you know, like Global Warming.

It's only a mutt if the original dog didn't cost a bundle of money. They're probably breeding expensive dogs with expensive dogs.

I agree. The American Eagle is the cutest followed by the Puggle. I mean, screw the dog, could "Puggle" be a cuter word? I don't think so. But I do like the dog, I was just kidding about the screw part.

That site made me nausous. Sure if a pup mates with another pup naturally then fine, but to purposely breed them for the sake of making a buck off of looks/traits and/or convenience is sickening.

Yep, mutt's are the best! And they're healthier, too.
Go to the shelter, and save some sweet thing's life!:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Or (I must add) if you have your heart set on a purebred dog, seek out a rescue organization. There are rescues for pretty much ANY breed you're looking for. I'm sure there will be some for these "hybrid" pets, if there aren't already.

My best friend runs a rescue farm, and he always says to me,
"I F*CKING HATE PUGGLES!"
I have no idea why either. But everytime I see that word, I can hear him saying that.

I think they're cute. But he probably hates them cuz they're the "in" thing right now. It's cool to have a Puggle, and people run out & get them without doing any research or anything. Just like those a-holes who go & buy rabbits for their kids at easter & don't have a clue how to care for them.

I was almost gonna do that... write down all the ones I liked - but it was way 2 many 2 write down! The website where I found the link said Puggle is most popular right now. I thought he was cute too. And the Beaglpoo. and the... ah, fergetit... too many!

Sounds like fun to me... take two dogs of different kind but same size, watch em go to town and see what comes out...hope it's cute. Sheesh.

A customer of mine is doing this and when I told her my neighbor just got a baby long hair chiuahua, she wanted me to ask if they would outsource their dog with her ****zu, because she's sold shi-poos and some other kind, for a few hundred a piece. I guess if that's the latest thing, then some people just hafta be doin the latest thing, well... and making money. Although it is relatively unconventional.

I just hope all these people buying designer dogs give them adequate care and attention. Not treat them like yesterday's rags after a while when the new wears off.
