I saw the 'Fleetwood Mac- The Unbroken Chain' DVD in Borders today and wondered if it was actually worth buying? I thought I'd ask the experts first. I STILL haven't got "Destiny Rules" though. Which is the better buy?

Get DR first... and buy the other as cheaply as you can. Its alright but you're not missing much.

Unbroken Chain sucks. I bought it despite the advice give on this board because I wanted it in the collection. They don't interview anyone in the band and they don't have the rights to play any of the songs, so it's effectively a slideshow of some (admittedly cool) pictures interspersed with some interviews from nobody's and cheezy muzak.

Destiny Rules is much better.

Don't you DARE buy it. It's awful. No footage of the band, no music clips, no Mac music at all!, no interviews with anyopopne from the band, except Bob Brunning who -- in his typical fashion -- gets a lot of obvious facts wrong. It's hard to believe anything this bad exists.

Amen to all of that. Definitely not worth the buy. Not even out of curiosity. They even get quite a couple of "facts" wrong.
Don't bother.

Destiny Rules, on the other hand -- essential viewing.
