Earlier today I got in a bad argument about Lindsay Lohan's horrific cover of Edge of Seventeen with an 18 year old girl who honestly thinks that anyone will care about Lindsay in five years. So, with the old Lindsay/Lindsey switcharoo, I posted this list of "20 reasons why Lindsay kicks ass." The conversation came to a grinding halt, except for someone who said "you must me mistaking her for someone else. She's only 20 and not 50!"

Kids!

What's with you people? I can name 20 reasons why Lindsay kicks ass!

1. Even 27 years later, "Tusk" is still one damn weird song.
2. Everyone and their mother agrees that "Go Your Own Way" is one of the greatest rock songs of the '70s.
3. Her father died when she was only 25.
4. Her influences range from the Beach Boys to the Talking Heads.
5. Her solo acoustic version of Big Love is absolutely mind-blowing.
6. Her solo material is sadly underappreciated.
7. In 2004, she nearly passed out during the guitar solo of "I'm So Afraid," but kept on playing anyway.
8. It's really funny when she jumps around and screams on stage.
9. She always makes herself presentable when seen in public.
10. She banged Stevie Nicks. Can you believe that?
11. She can take a fairly average song and craft it into a musical dreamscape.
12. She can wear coveralls and a cowboy hat on stage and still look cool.
13. She consistently pushed the envelope of mainstream pop, taking Fleetwood Mac in a new direction even after "Rumours" sold 17 million copies.
14. She did a song for the 'Back to the Future' soundtrack.
15. She has finally come to terms with Stevie Nicks, 30 years after he left her.
16. She produces her solo albums all by herself in her basement studio.
17. She went from being a naked folkie to co-producing an absurdly expensive experimental double album in only four years.
18. She's 55 years old but still extremely good looking.
19. She's been in Fleetwood Mac for 21 years, 14 years longer than any previous guitarist.
20. She's one of the few female singers who looked good in an afro.

That is DAMN funny, mate. Nice one!

A few things:

In 2004, she nearly passed out during the guitar solo of "I'm So Afraid," but kept on playing anyway.

What, really? My poor baby!

She did a song for the 'Back to the Future' soundtrack.

I KNEW that was him....

She's one of the few female singers who looked good in an afro.

 Bwahahhahahahahah!

Well, I think it might have been Come and I don't think he really came close to "passing out." But I heard that he was drenched in sweat and some stagehands had to practically force him to drink some water, soo...
