I've been working on trying to put together a CD of bear and teddy bear songs (for reasons which make sense only to myself probably), and I'm wondering if I can find enough to fill a decent length of CD. I have four nice versions of Teddy Bear's Picnic, including a really neat version by Bad Manners (Oi!). I would love to get the Rupert the Bear themse song whoever did that, it was on some old '70s children's show stuck in my brain...
Well, what can we come up with without resorting to Disney's Brother Bear (which I loved of course). here is some of what i have so far.
I Wish I Was A Teddy Bear - Donna Fargo (I think)
Bare necessities - The Jungle Book soundtrack
Teddy Bear - Elvis
Cliff Edwards (aka Ukulele Ike) - I'm a Bear in a Lady's Boudoir
Jack The Bear - Duke Ellington
Barry Allen - Armful of Teddy Bear
Ayumi Hamasaki - Teddy Bear
Four Jacks & a Jill - Three Little Bears
also some kind of thrash metal track titled Don't Feed The Bears by unknown.
