Any chance of a few Ledge T-shirts going into print.
It would be cool for our supporting members to be able to purchase official Ledge Member T-Shirts.
I think if the Mac spotted them at a live concert they would appreciate it.

I do like the idea of the t-shirts. I came up with another idea for this last concert I attended (INXS) as I didn't want to take my FM smiley pillow to the show (it's for FM only!) I was at a party shop in preparation for a party I am giving for my assistant and I came upon some glow bracelets. They are very inexpensive, and come in a cool variety of colors. I bought approximately 10, made them at the show (you have to break the beads, shake, then assemble) and placed five on each wrist.

Well, let me tell you, very much the attention grabber for the INXS band! :] Of course, I loved it! It would be cool to have the t-shirts, and then that chit blazing from our wrists. None of that glow necklace chit...just the wrists as they are in the air for hours (well, at least, mine are!) Just an idea! :D

I love this idea.
We can have our username printed on them! And we'd be able to find each other easily too!

Then again, so will the security teams when we, inspired afresh by our uniform and confident in our numbers, storm the stage and attempt to force La Nicks to sing Storms. Or something. We'd be too identifiable! They'd end up with an announcement going out not to allow anyone in such a garment into the arena. They are extremely dangerous, repeat, extremely dangerous!

:] Sorry. Got a bit carried away there.

 Actually their faces light up. Has anyone attended a performance when the audience is dead-ass on their seat? It isn't pretty. When an audience is excited to see a performance and they show it, it feels a lot better and, when the artists is feeling good, the performance rocks. This has been my experience in attending concerts.

We did have this Ledgie pin thing going back when Stevie was touring. It was the TISL tour I believe. Someone on The Ledge put out this picture & then you were supposed to print it out & get in laminated & pin it on. I wore mine, but no other Ledgie did, none that I could see anyway, & I walked around a lot. I thought that was a good idea.

I have made up my own t-shirts for concerts that I've been to (Maroon 5 & U2). I have a local craft store close to me, so it's not that difficult to do. A t-shirt is a good idea for any Ledgie to wear. Maybe I'll make one for the next Mac tour. That way maybe other Ledgies will be sure to spot me then. And I'm not worried about security.

Lee :)

All kidding aside, when I see a photograph of someone pointing a gun at the camera (on another board) I don't think the underlying issue is about being young, angsty and misunderstood. That's just me, though.
Now, back on topic, I think the shirts are a cool idea. I won't wear one though because it would be like painting a giant target on my back.

See, I didn't think that repeating the word "anti" made it a joke. I just thought we were all over it by now.

I'll buy a Ledge shirt, so long as it does not involve airbrushing, glitter, iron-on transfers or the Comic sans font. Oh, and I prefer Bella when it comes to babydoll tees, and American Apparel for everything else.

You take the fun out of everything, Kate. Why bother if it won't have iron-ons or glitter? :p

BTW - I was at a bar a few weeks ago for a birthday party & there happened to be karaoke. Now, I'll do karaoke if I've had enough to drink, but I was really impressed by one 40-ish woman's T-shirt that read "Karaoke Posse!" Airbrushed. In hot pink.

lollll I love that woman and I don't even know her. I love karaoke - it's great for people-watching. I can carry a tune, but when I go it's only to watch the drunks sing Foreigner.

By the way, it's slightly more expensive, but it lasts a lot longer than iron-ons and it's easier to mass-produce with, so.. SILKSCREENING ALL THE WAY, MOTHER****ERS.

Kate, stop posting. Now. Everytime I see you post with that Communist Party Threadless shirt I get emo because I wanted to get that exact shirt for the bf for his birthday (Friday!) and they sold out too fast.
