I don't normally request songs but this is driving me crazy. My computer crashed recently and while I had some demos burned onto discs so that I could put them on the computer again, there's one that I've lost and really love.

It's a "Thousand Days" demo/outtake (I have it listed as an outtake). It's RAL era I believe and it runs 4:46 and I'm pretty sure it quite prominently features a saxophone. If anyone could help me out I'd be forever grateful.

I think I have this. is it faster than the released version? if so, it's one of my favs. I'll post it tonight if you don't have it by then. I love your avatar, btw.

and as far as song requests go, I don't think anyone should have a problem with people asking for anything, with the exception of commercially available material, which has exceptions, IMO. that's what we're here for, a Stevie fan community.

EDIT: I was reading some of the crap going on at 7 Wonders where apparently too many people are asking for too many songs, etc. or not placing their requests in the proper forum...I was like "sheesh" what BS and reaffirms why I rarely go to 7 Wonders. this is all supposed to be fun and helpful to FM/SN fans...

Yes, it's faster than the released one. And thanks! I think I'm gonna stick with this avatar for a while. It's my favourite JC look.

I read the Seven Wonders stuff too and that's why I was a bit hesitant to ask. But what's the point of hoarding your Stevie demos? I don't understand that at all.

Amen to everything you and Jazzy said. Share the love, people. :wavey:

Sorry I can't share this love ... but it sounds interesting! :)

At Seven Wonders though there was one dude basically asking people to post all of The Other Side Of The Mirror for him.
He said something like: "I've heard it isn't too good, so I'd like to hear it to judge for myself", well then buy it!
But sharing demos and bootlegs is very cool. It's just the commercially released stuff (that is still available to buy rather than deleted singles etc) that is a no-no.

Plus there were requests every day (sometimes a couple of times a day). I'm all for sharing but most of the requests were from people who never shared anything.

Yes! That's it! Thank you so much. :xoxo: And thanks to Jason for offering to upload it also.

Some of Stevie's choices just leave me dumbfounded. I think this version is SO much better than the released version.

This version kicks ass as where the released version is kinda bleh.

I'm glad this was the one you were looking for :wavey:
