Yes, I'm shamelessly promoting. LOL This is Justin's first ever solo concert. If you live in the area (near Sewell, New Jersey), I'd highly recommend going to see him. He's an amazing performer and it will be a fun show.

I will be in the front row with my fellow Justin friends. ;)

I've never understood all of the slagging that Justin gets. From what I've heard of his singing, he has a great voice. And on top of that, he's a total cutie.

Have fun at the show, Christy... I hope you get to shake his hand! :xoxo:

Hand shake? Nah...I got a hug in Philly. ;) You might not have seen this photo, so I'll post it again. Geez, the things I do for you people.

If anyone is interested at all in hearing songs from Justin to see if they would like his jazz album, PLEASE, PM me. Or you can go to his website to hear clips.

He's already getting h*ll over at TWoP because ticket prices are kinda high, but first of all...it's a ONE TIME concert, not a tour and HE didn't set the prices...Sal (the promoter) did.

His voice is amazing, but nobody seems to care. :( All they talk about is his hair or his ego...which does NOT exist. Meet him in person and find that out real quick. :)

That's all well and good, Christy... but did you shake his hand?!? ;)

Seriously though, that is so cool you got to meet him and have a photo taken with him. He's adorable... and I don't care what anyone says -- I love his hair!

(By the way, you look beautiful, as always -- and what a great smile!)

Okay, okay....I will most definitely shake his hand (just for you ;) ) when I see him again in September. They are planning an afterparty for the fans so I'll be up close and personal with him...again. :)

I love his hair too. And yes...I've "molested" it.

All they talk about is his hair Well, he has lots of it! ;) I like that he has cropped some of it off...looks more polished IMO.

Well, it's a 2,500 seat venue and the gold circle tickets are $100. First few rows are that much, then it goes to $44.50, then $29.50. I don't know why tickets are so much, but I figure it may be due to the fact this is a one time show and the promoter wants to make enough to pay Justin, the venue, etc.

Don't know how many are coming to the afterparty, but I guesstimate about 50 that I know of so far. No clue though.

He has never toured with anyone, except the American Idol tour way back in the day. He was never promoted, his song wasn't played on the radio, he had to go on TV with Kelly to promote that farkin' movie instead of his album. The night they were on Leno....she wouldn't let him speak much and he never got a plug in for the CD. :( The only person who's trying to help him out in ANY way is Sal Mazzotta, the guy who is putting him in his movie and putting this concert on.

WHY are talentless boobs being shoved down our throats, but Justin, with talent, grace, talent, charm, talent, charisma, talent, and even talent...can't catch a frickin' break?

Oh, that's right...people like to be screamed at.

The other pricing seems very reasonable for those that can not afford $100.

The night they were on Leno....she wouldn't let him speak much and he never got a plug in for the CD. He seems very polite so I would imagine he should try to become more agressive if he truly wants to get a word in edgewise. She is a bitch!

I would say that you are not the only one purchasing his CD and attending his concerts, right? I do hope he does very well for all of the reasons you mention. IMO his success is what he makes of it and, from the sound of it, he is giving it his best shot. I would say it often takes some time, faith and determination to be successful long-term. The "punks" come and go! I think you are a wonderful promotor Christy! Justin is lucky to have a fan like you!

Some Clay fan over at TWoP is getting all high and mighty. Pfftt. Sorry to his fans, but I despise Claytard. I don't care if he's straight, gay, who cares, he's a horses'...you know.

Well, Kelly was very unpolished back in the day doing interviews and always talked, never let Justin say much, etc. It was irritating. LOL He always talks about her, promotes her, he's so great about just talking up EVERYONE involved in AI. Do they extend that courtesy in return...newp. :distress:

I promote things I love. I gave Justin a Lindsey CD (OOTC) in Beaumont. :) If I ever see Lindsey again, I'm gonna give him a Justin jazz CD.

He's doing his own thing. Putting out a jazz CD on his own terms, going into this new venture, BurnLounge, which is like iTunes. His next CD, he told us, would be more radio-friendly stuff, R&B, funk, soul, some hip-hop, that sort of thing.

I think Sal priced the close tickets at $100 because that's how much we all paid to go to the party back in May. LOL

He's not carrying a torch for her, is it? OK, I won't go there. I like Kelly though I've never seen her in concert, I like her music. She seems really down-to-earth to me.

So is this really a one-time deal or is Justin getting ready do a little tour?

No, they broke up a long time ago. He's just a nice guy. The girl he's rumoured to be dating is dancing with Ricky Martin on his tour. I like Kelly too, but she never did talk Justin up...she always seemed embarrassed when someone brought him up. When they were together, she wasn't, but apart...yeah.

This is a one time thing, as far as I know. If it sells out and his album does well when it comes out at the end of summer...that could change. I dunno.
