Camp 1 is 2 miles from Camp 3 and Camp 3 is 4 miles from Camp 2.
Camp 3 is exactly 5 minutes from Camp 7. Camp 3 is exactly 15 minutes from Camp 9.
Which 2 camps are nearest to each other?
just kidding, that probably makes no sense, but the section with these questions was the absolute hardest to me.

They called that a "puzzle" section and it was the first time I'd ever done anything like that! needless to say, it took me the longest and lets just say I didnt shine as brightly on that section as I might have liked

Just reading that makes my head hurt and makes my blood pressure rise. I HATE these types of "problems"

I hate it when they ask questions like:
Is it better to commit an injustice or to suffer an injustice?
or
Is folly or vice a greater obstacle to wisdom?

I HATE those kinds of questions on any standardized test. I always screw them up.

The LSATs...the most evil, DEMONIC test in the world. I took it once, got a measley 148, took it again, and cancelled the score and walked out on the test halfway through (I knew my score wouldn't be much of an improvement, if one at all). Everything sucks about this test, but some special specifics: 1) sections are 35 minutes long, which seems like a long time, until you see how much there is in each section. Logic games has FOUR games that must be set up and have questions answer, Arguments has 24-26 usually, all containing a paragraph to read and a question or two to answer, and Reading Comprehension, four LONG, BORING articles to read and questions to answer on them. 2) There are five sections, but only FOUR are scored, meaning you do an entire section of work for no reason, and you don't know which section is "experimental." You can figure it out by section five, because you know the test is 101 questions, so whichever section won't allow you to get 101 questions is the experimental one, but by then it is too late because it is usually the second or third section, which you've already labored over. 3) You have to do a writing sample that is also not included in your score, which definitely should be considering how long the jackasses at the testing center take to score the tests.
The logic section is just brutal too. I bought a book explaining how to diagram them, and there are like, 10 different types, and some include such elaborate diagramming that I don't understand how anyone can diagram them in enough time to answer the questions. They are a little different from Jason's example. More like, there are five types of music, A B C D and E, and four music stores, W, X, Y, and Z. Then clues like, "W does not sell A," "If X sells D, then it doesn't sell B," "Z sells more than one type of music but no more than 3," etc. Then questions like, "What types of music does Y sell?" This is one of the more elaborate ones, but these kind can still appear on there.
I hope everything went well Alex.

I have to agree, the test sucked major a$$. I took it twice in 1995, before I went to law school.
As difficult as this was, the bar exam was ten times worse.

LOL, which is one of the main reasons I decided against the whole thing. I was not going to put myself through the hell of three years of law school at thirty grand a year only to turn around and not be able to use the degree because of another dumbass test. Nope, I'll take my 183 day work year with summers off.

Yeah! The PA bar exam is in the top five as far as difficulty and the two month wait to see if I passed was excruciating. THANK GOD I did pass . . . I had a job riding on it, so it was really, really stressful.
BUT - after six years in private legal practice, I made the transition to education, where I too have summers off and I have never been happier in my professional life!!! I teach law now, instead of practicing it and I LOVE IT.

This is so very true. I feel VERY blessed.
Being in an unhappy place professionally is kinda like being in a bad relationship. You may realize you are unhappy at times, but until you make the transition out of it and can get some perspective on it, you cannot truly appreciate how miserable you really were and how fulfilled you can be in a new situation.
I wish this happiness for everyone - life is too short to dread going to your job every single day.
Plus, I get summers off! :D That is like a fabulous bonus!

I thought the same thing when I took it. It was just like my Critical Thinking Philosophy Class in college. Thank God I took that. Then, I ended up dropping out to law school to be a teacher anyway. I'm crazy.:]
Anyway, Good Luck, David, if you haven't taken it yet. I know that you'll do, or you did well. :xoxo:
