What special skills or talents do you have? Are you a great singer? Perhaps you knit? Play an instrument? Do you teach a yoga class? A self defense class? Do you take a basket weaving class?

I am a CPR instructor for the American Heart Association. It's great because I meet lots of people, and I keep my skills up to date by teaching frequently.

I am an amateur photographer - very, very amateur. Nothing special, nothing high tech. But I take lots of pics & love it.

I was a percussionist for many years - band/orchestrat - that kind of thing. Then I started playing set, was in a couple of local bands. I can still play when I sit down at a set, but sadly my skills are a little rusty.

I also have some amatuer photog. skills, I took a couple of classes in college and always enjoyed that.

I fancy myself a good cartoonist, not too good with realistic drawings, but I can draw some damn cute things in a cartoonish style.

And recently I have discovered that I have dog grooming skills ;)

I'm a craft ho. I knit, crochet, spin, embroider, sew... I can make soap and bath bombs & I dye my own yarn for fun. I even excel at the art of Swedish weaving.

Yes, I'm 23, and I know more about crafting than elderly women. It's all good.

an expert at locating rare music releases online, If it exists I can find it (And usually do, Even if it takes a few hours of non-stop searching/surfing).

Always seem to find great stuff when I'm broke...Go figure.

I am skilled in having no skills. Does that count? :p I have the classic - into many things - but master of none. I guess I am skilled in variety. That's almost an answer, I guess.

skills...hmmm. I'd say I'm good with communication. sometimes it doesn't show here, but when I try, I am good with the written and spoken word.

I'm an artist. I've been drawing since I was a little kid, and some of my pencil art pieces are going to be displayed in an upcoming exhibit featuring the work of local artists. This will be the third exhibit I've participated in, and the most "high profile" by far.

I also write the occasional short story and one of my poems was published several years back.

As far as other skills... well, those shouldn't be discussed in mixed company. ;)

teehee...

I should find the lyrics to Magic Stick my Lil Kim. I think that would suffice.

I've written a bunch of poems but only one I really liked. It was called "Day for Hunting." Also, I am a pretty good golfer. I started learning how to golf in 7th grade.

Oh come on, you have the skill of finding the most sickingly cute pictures and then posting them...and making people go "awww" :D

I can sculpt - in fact, people have some of mine in their homes, which is a huge and humbling honor for me.

I can pretty much make anyone laugh whenever I want to.

I guess my best skill is sports. I played Volleyball, Softball and Basketball during all junior high and highschool, and Volleyball & Softball for the junior college team my first year.
I started recreational softball at age nine, and before that me and my family would go out and play softball quite a bit. I also played tennis and ice skated recreationally (no teams, just with fam). Oh, and I did gymnastics for a few years until age 8. Oh, and I rollerblade well.
I did drama and choir in highschool, drama and band (5 years of band) before that (flute and alto sax). I'm not sure that's a skill since I can't really play now.
Um...another skill is that I read really fast?
I guess those are my main printable skills.

I can play the piano by ear. I can stand on my toes like a ballerina.

I think you should post it here ;)

I'm an avid tennis player. I've been playing since I was 11 and played team tennis all the way up through high school. Woot!

What else? I'm a great accessorizer! My belt/ shoe/purse combinations are unparalleled  Just kidding, I don't wear belts.

Some say I have a good singing voice, whatevs.

I play the keyboard, although not quite as good as Ms. McVie  .

So one could say that you're generally athletic?

I am that one and I say you are ;) .

No, no, you have to say I am generally exceptionally athletic. A prodigy, if you will.

Tee-hee..yeah, I like physical activity too. I can't go a day without some sort of physical exertion, if I do I feel like a frump.

Tennis rocks. It's one of the best all-over body work-outs you can do. I think it exercises most of the muscles in your body if you're playing a good, swift game. Swimming is like that too. I LOVE swimming!

I write but not prolifically. It's a major struggle to get anything finished.

I am pretty short on skills, particularly unprintable ones. I used to be a bit of an athlete - when I was about 15 I was in the British top 10 for my age for the 100m. These days my main skill is driving - I cover around 60,000 miles a year without an accident since 2000 (cue major accident tomorrow :( ) I have also raced cars, at least until my money ran out :( I was good at it though

Other than that, my skills include masterfully compiling mindblowingly pointless lists of things, and avoiding unnecessary people :)

I draw portraits. I'm pretty good at assemblage and collage. I write stories, songs and poems. I sing and play guitar (somewhat). I'm a decent baker.

Oh, and I'm extremely skilled in cleaning up after my husband.

I'm a good writer. I'm a good actor. I played bass for a number of years and often think about picking it back up. I think I'm a good cook too

Lesse. I'm good at making films and stuff. Editing, directing writing, etc. I'm told i'm an okay stand up, and I'm not that bad at piano. Not, like, Christine, but for a 14 year old, I'm pretty good.

I am good at writing procedures. :) I write tons at work and I love it.

I can knit. Scarves only. I am attempting a dishcloth. But I started it months ago and got bored.

I can play piano. Not that good ... but I know where all the notes are.

I am a kick-ass speller.

Speaking of which... :D

Yeah yeah yeah... It's finished.

I had waited on looking for a literary agent or publisher because I wanted to get feedback from at least one more reader first. I gave it to Josh to read and he told me he'd finished it and would send me his thoughts, but then he abruptly went AWOL and my inquiries have received no reply. Anybody know what's going on with him????

Anyway, I also gave it to an offline friend of mine whose only input was that he hated my ending (What is it with people who insist on happy endings???) and that I should make the book be the first of a series (Dip**** doesn't realize and can't seem to understand that I have squeezed my imagination dry of ideas for these characters after six years of writing them). So all that's really left is for me to write a "pitch" to send to publishers/agents along with my manuscript to get them interested in it.

Skills... hmmmmm, well, my constant bitchiness and sharp sarcasm come quickly to mind.

Honestly, I don't know that I have any real skills. I can type real well. I'm a good speller... but I don't know if those would be considered skills, in the basket weaving sense. I can make a killer lemondrop martini!! Sometimes, I can tie a cherry stem in a knot with my tongue....
