It's a few days old, but I just heard...

Paul Gleason, a character actor best known for playing bad guy Clarence Beeks in Trading Places, the high school principal in The Breakfast Club, and the wrong-every-step-of-the-way police chief in Die Hard, died on Saturday of mesothelioma, a rare form of lung cancer linked to asbestos. He was 67.

This is horrible but at first I was picturing the principal from Ferris Bueller and I got all upset..then I was like...no wait! Wrong 80s principal *phew* but it's still sad.

Rooney got busted for child porn!?! OMG.

Cancer is awful - I've seen two people (one a friend's mom, the other my mom's best friend) suffer over a year...wasting away. It's awful. Sadly I'm far away from everyone I love...a situation that will be remedied soon :o
