Happy 65th to Bob Dylan!
It is often times difficult to see through the hyperbole surrounding any account of his accomplishments, but at the same time, when all is said and done, he is truly one of the very few artists of whom all the praise can be said to be justified.
Few can be said to have created as extensive a body of work, and repeatedly attained such levels of excellence and garnered such respect of his peers, for as long as he has.
Most artists would be content to have created one song that will stand the test of time, and possibly someday be considered standards, offering themselves up to new interpretations, not only by your peers but also by the succeeding generations after you
Dylan has dozens.
Happy Birthday Bob - may you stay, forever young
