It is always the same dream. You've read it before, I believe. I am not sure you interpd though. They are all centered around this fcking yes fcking white canopy bed on a white sand beach with the brightest of skies that match Lindsey's eyes (yeah double-whammy) and the bluest of oceans pounding out the whitest of wavecrests. We are laying on the bed, there is a sweet ocean breeze, we are dressed in white clothing, and our skin is uber brown. I won't go into all the more intimate deets (jazzy! :xoxo: ) but there is a lot of tender sweet kisses, soft whispy caresses, and soulful eye-gazing. My favorite part is when he gently sweeps through my hair with his amazing hands. And, my second-favorite part is when both of my hands take clutch of his hair in a very very heated way. oh-uh I'm a puddle on the carpet. :o

RED, occasionally I have a dream about Stevie. These are most always different. A recent one I had went like this: I was in the rafters of a concert she was conducting at a football stadium. I was standing next to one of the team exit runways that stadiums have. While I did enjoy the concert, she seemed faraway but that didn't stop me from enjoying the sound and dancing in a wild abandon. When the concert ended, the crowd parted, and Stevie was escorted towards the runway exit. I leaned over the ledge just as she passed, and looked down to her. She immediately paused, looked up to penetrate my eyes with hers, and said "I see you sweetie." The crowd below began to increase and press against her and her security team. She then looked away from me and seemed to become alarmed with the crowd. Security then ushered her along by an elbow. She seemed hesitant with her step, but quickly moved forward.

Dreaming of a Stevie concert should be taken literally as this is soomething that we all have, or would like to enjoy. Its a way of lifting our spirits, our moods. The fact that she looked directly, especially when you'd think that there's no way she could see you indicates wanting a sort of recognition in your waking life. Is there something you're doing, at work for a friend or family member that is going unnoticed or is just being noticed now?

Are you worried about the crowd the way she seems to be? If so, that means that you may have some distressing personal problems that are weighing on you in your waking life. If not, then you are probably very concerned about someone else's welfare in your personal life that you don't have a lot of control over.

Still, that's a great dream - something that a lot of people on this board would like to experience in real life. Hey, at least I've had a handshake and a "thank you".:)

RED...I had another one last night. It was pretty brief but I am wondering if there is something to interp. Lindsey and I were back on that country road but this time we were walking...it was really pretty out with again vibrant golden yellow fields...bluest sky...white white clouds...we were smiling and kicking at the dirt road...just loving life...pretty much skipping...then all of the sudden there was the sound of this train horn...and we look up and off in the distance there is a smokey gray train coming down the tracks...the horn becomes more urgent...we look ahead and see that there are tracks ahead of us and we make a run for it to beat the train...as we cross the tracks a gold/green beaded necklace Lindsey gave me slides down my body to the ground...I can't stop it...we are running for our lives!..we make it to the other side, and turn to watch the train run over the necklace...we see pieces of necklace breaking away...we grip tighter each others hand praying that it will make it through somewhat...the train passes, we go back to the tracks and there is the necklace in pieces...while Lindsey kneels and gathers the pieces, I stand with my arms crossed and whimper a little as I watch the train move on...the same truck we were driving in from the other dream appears to the side of the road...Lindsey places the pieces he has gathered together on the hood and I am a bit teary worrying he doesn't have them all and that I broke something very special to us...Lindsey looks very concentrated on the pieces as he places them together yet I sense he is worried he doesn't have every single piece...just then he looks to me and says "dont worry about it babe I love you." His eyes are so blue...so gentle and understanding.

I know for a fact that this is Gerald's favourite thread, quite possibly ever.

The beauty of this thread is the fact that these girls just celebrate their hormones in ONE thread. It is easy to avoid, and the
"oh, he makes me drip"-s are not all over the place on this side, just over here:laugh: . That is what keeps me away from Stevie's side: those things are everywhere over there.

I must admit that I check this thread occasionally. Why? Because of BTFLCHLDS' small edited vids and animated gifs. f.i the one where he cuts the tape while editing. I love it when such details are isolated: you can catch the beauty of things that go by to quickly in the whole videoproduct. I love that.

And then, there is something that fascinates me about Lindsey's "outside". He looks like my father who died 24 years ago. He never did look like him very much but since 97, when Lindsey looked significantly older, the similarity became more and more "unreal". In 2003 I mailed a portrait of Lindsey to my younger brother and he was totally shocked. I must admit that for that reason it is interesting to see recent pictures of him, but even more: recent animated gifs where he just winks with an eye or put his mouth in a grin.

Priceless for me, for a complete other reason than for the posters over here. So I don't hate this thread AT ALL. But obviously: not my cup of tea normally.......

Well i appreciate all the female interest and think its cool women really fancy Lindsey Buckingham. But this really isnt a place for male discussion, however i did choose to use the black and white photo of lindsey playin the tele and smokin a feg as a wallpaper on the computer. I think thats the coolest photo of them all, i dont really like the stripey jacket effort and the whole hands together praying effort isnt all that cool either. i'm much more into the original style of music and guitar playing side of things. My wife thinks he's pretty fit though. She's not the biggest fan in the world but she has her moments where i come into the room and she listening to LB which i think is pretty good. But sometimes i wonder when the whole bein a fan is a bit too much. I do like being part of this forum and i do like the people and the craic, but wouldnt even lindsey or his wife think people that have posted thousand of comments find it a bit strange.. i mean thousands of comments about his necklace or his boots etc............. as the man says "isn't that weird".
Although in fairness my mate tonight said he would cut off his arm for Man Utd which is also a bit stupid, i guess everyone has their devotions. But mine lie with my wife, job and guitar ( if i could learnt to play it).
To summarise it.... i think get over the whole loving the person thing, he has a home, a wife and three kids. Its never gonna happpen EVER...... and get more devoted to the great music.
Lindsey may end up being more accessible and may even communicate on this forum if people werent so overly obssessed with him.

it's just natural to appreciate beauty & lb's got it. i appreciate his music & even as a newbie have tried to start topics relating to his music. that doesn't mean i can't appreciate a good-looking man. women check out men, men check out women, men check out men, women check out women, face it, we check each other out & lb is no exception. my bf & i have been together since high school & i love him more than i can say so the fact that it's never gonna happen EVER is fine with me. i don't want lb but i do love his music & sorry, but he's eye candy to boot. & i'm sure he's flattered by the attention. most men are. even my bf can accept that. it's not that hard to figure :shrug:

I don’t know if I’m going to answer this very well…maybe more in a round about way. It’s very difficult to take who he is and what he does out of the equation because no one has known him as anything different. It’s not just what he does; it’s HOW he does it too. My ears love what he creates musically and that’s a big start. His attractiveness, for me, comes from how passionate he is when he composes, sings, or performs. The vibe he gives off is powerful and very sexy to me personally. I’m drawn to him because of that mostly I think. Plus he’s just a nice guy with fantastic, blue eyes you could swim in and you can’t fault a girl for enjoying that! :thumbsup: ;)

(I will add that it’s not just “famous” people that have had this impact on me.)

Ladies, let me ask a question thats been lingering for weeks now. Would Lindsey be "That Hot" if he didn't play the guitar? Inquiring minds want to know?? What if he dug ditches?? Worked on power lines, fixed your phone or was a dry cleaning attendant????

For me the answer would be no. When I first encountered the Mac properly (The Dance DVD) I was struck by his playing and the songs, not the way he looked -- it took ages for me to "fall in love" with Lindsey as the sexy man we all know him to be :P
It's been like that with other musicians too for me -- Roland Orzabal of Tears for Fears being a notable example personally. I first grew to love his lyrics, then the music, and now I think he's hot stuff!!

yeah, the man is a genius at work when hes playing those shows
to get the cd, my seat was like 20+ rows back, and by the end of the show i was up front-there were like no security people. except to yell at me for using flash...once or twice, so i went up front, and at the end just handed him the booklet thingy. i was so happy he did that for me :)

Yeah, he is a REALLY nice guy and that's what makes me like him even more. And he obviously doesn't have to do the "fan stuff" but he does and is so humble about it. :)

I was just re-watching The Dance tonight and thought it could stand to be reiterated that the man looked damn good there. I was in high school when that first aired and thought Lindsey was so hot while all my friends drooled over the Backstreet Boys and I still think I was on the better track!

I was just so glad to see them all together again that I didn't care how they looked really, but I do think Lindsey started to look better as the tour went on than he did on the Dance DVD.
