View Full Version : What happened to Joe Walsh's daughter?

So I was reading Stevie's Timespace notes on HAEWAFY, and I'm sure you all know she refers to Joe Walsh's daughter that he "lost".

I'm assuming this means she died, especially because of the memorial drinking fountain. But I can't find any information on it.

Maybe I'm being a terrible person, but I'm curious.

She was killed by a drunk driver on her way to school I believe.

i think i remember that his daughter was named emma & she was 3 & killed by a drunk driver on the way to nursery school~

I thought I read that her name was Lucy, but knowing as much as I do about Joe Walsh, it could be a different daughter.

i was taking emma from what i think might have been "storytellers" when stevie said what is "HAEWAFY" was about~

I'm not sure if he has other children, but the daughter that was killed in the accident was named Emma Kristen. He wrote a song for her that appears on the 'So What' album...
