Wow, that is cool! Are you going?
Check out Explosions In The Sky if you are. They are fab.

Kasey Chambers

I like her a lot.

[Livia]

Yep, I'm goin'.

I blew it off last year cuz none of the bands really appealed to me, so many of them are local (and it was obscenely hot and humid, like 110 degrees). This year, I bought my 3-day pass as soon as they went on sale.

Thanks for the tip on Explosions in the Sky! I'm excited that so many of the SXSW acts that I didn't get to see are making another pass thru Austin.

[DavidMn]

Wow, that's quite the lineup.

Livia, please check out Marah!
They are awesome live, honestly you won't regret it.
I've seen them a few times, the last time with Nick Hornby (he read out essays he had written about his favourite bands and songs and then they played them - it was v. cool! Marah is his favourite band) and they always put their heart and soul into every show no matter how few or how many are in the audience. Oh and the music rocks too!

[hayley]

ooh! maybe ray lamontagne will sing his cover of 'crazy' at the same time gnarls barkley plays 'crazy'!

That's an f-ing good lineup. See Gnarls Barkley. And I'm seconding Sharon's recommendation of Explosions in the Sky. I went to see the movie 'Friday Night Lights' just so I could close my eyes and listen to the band.
