alright, some of you have at least visited...did you read the article? What did you think? It echoes some of the comments Ive seen on this board previously, and I just wondered if anyone here thinks this article is legit?

btw: it came to me unasked for in my email...

It's hard to know where to begin dissecting wacky conspiracy theories, but I stopped reading after this particularly idiotic statement:

"All existing religions will disappear. The only religion will be the state religion (humanism or illuminism)."

I can only imagine the claims get even more fanciful and divorced from reality after that.

So you found no redeeming info in this at all? nothing that was verifiable?

just asking....

btw: I also found that bit a little strange...especially given the hold that fundamentalism seems to have in this country...

As I said, I only read as far as that line. But even up until that point, the article seemed to be little more than a whole lot of scary rhetoric without much citation of evidence or anything, save for a couple of scattershot quotes.

But claims of the downfall of religion, global redistribution of wealth, a "world supra government"... these things are just completely ridiculous. In his first twenty paragraphs, this guy displays remarkable naivete and a complete ignorance of how the world works, of the complexity of societies. (Of course, no doubt that if anyone told him that, he'd say they were simply being brainwashed by the evil "shadow government.")

it's just one assumption after another ... the new world order (rockefeller, bush, kissinger et al)? genocide? population reduction? the cfr? what is the cfr? the trilateral commission? bilderberg? what is bilderberg? genocidal chemtrail spraying? govt/industry/military in bed with academia? you gotta be kidding .... have you looked into academia lately?

the whole thing sounds like somebody in the throes of hypermania or perhaps full-on mania: expansiveness, euphoria, hallucinations, delusions, &c. I would imagine that this person is soon going to crash into the depressive side of his illness & not bathe & talk "older" & slower & shuffle about or just lie in bed all day suffering all sorts of psychical neuralgia & extreme emotional ennui.

So you found no redeeming info in this at all? nothing that was verifiable?verifiable? why should the reader have to verify anything? tibor friedman is the one making all these claims....HE needs to verify, using traditional methods of statistical & research gathering & compiling & analyzing, all laid out in "The Modern Researcher" by Jacques Barzun & Henry S. Graff (of which the 5th edition is in print). He should also read "The Craft of Research" 2nd edition by Wayne Booth.

for what little sense I could make of it.

I did find the following paragraph interesting however:

"As someone in the upcoming movie “From Freedom to Fascism” describes the duopoly, it is like the Gambinos and Genovese families who share the power and eat their gnocchi from the same plate. No offense to them; but this is how the system works as both parties advance the interests of the globalists, the International bankers and their corporate proxies. The politicians, who take their share of the plunder, are generally fronts who wrap themselves in the flag and patriotism as it serves their needs to accomplish their assignments received from their bosses behind the curtain -- the elites in the shadow government. "

Love the comparison of the Demo-Gods & Re-Thugs to the Gambinos and Genovese crime families....But of course that would be rather insulting to those families if ya ask me.

As for the NWO, Cant wait to see 'em reappear...We have DX (Mainly Shawn "HBK" Michaels & Triple H) soon to reform and hopefully the NWO (Mainly Scott Hall, Kevin Nash & Hollywood Hogan) isnt far from reforming...Oh, The article was referring to the NWO of the ol' WCW/WWE wasnt it, Ya know Wrasslin'???

Thanks guys for the input. I was kinda blown away that that kinda thing would even be sent to me in the first place. I dont have any idea who the author is, nor do I recognize the website. All I can figure is that it was meant for someone else and I got it by mistake.

Ive heard a few conspiracy theories but that one seems to have a little something for everyone in it.

I do think some of his tips at the end make good sense overall, cut up your credit cards, get your money out of the banks, pay off your big ticket items, stock up on non perishables...
it never hurts to be self sufficient....

It reminds me of The Captains and The Kings from Taylor Caldwell.

Do I think this kind of thing happens - yes.

Do I think this type of thing can last for more than a decade - no I do not unless people in the positions of power a la Gates in the 90's come on board - and eventually people like that are not going to do it. So, I think the world is guided by a select few - I mean the Rothchilds loan money to nations  - and their power can be exerted in a uniform, but not absolute, manner.

Lots of people--from Suzy Orman to Money Matters to Jack Sirard to Miss Manners to FEMA--recommend these tips (for a variety of reasons).

However, remember that even if you cut up your credit cards, do NOT cancel those accounts. Your FICO score will suffer if you do, says Suze Orman, personal finance guru & Sex Goddess with Big Mouth.
