Most likely Rick, since Waddy wasn't in her touring band then.

is it seriously from 94? the version I have is labeled 1991. it may be wrong though. in any event, I love it...not as much as with FM, but it's a great version.

She only did "The Chain" with her solo band in 1994, when Rick Vito was touring with her.

Also, I think Waddy did play during that set at some point -- possibly during "The Chain." I seem to recall the DJ on the recording I have (thanks, David!) of the original live broadcast (prior to it being overdubbed and syndicated) saying that Stevie was joined by "her special guest, Waddy Wachtel."

I don't remember, you guys. I'm sorry. It feels like fifty years ago. Plus my stomach hurts. I don't think Chain is on most of my audience tapes from that tour, just the House of Blues.

She did it in Houston too, but that was the only SA show I saw.

Someone listen to the Houston tape & tell us about The Chain. Does it sound Chainy?
The Destiny on Las Vegas, by the way, is one of the three best Destinys of the tour, the other two being, of course, Arco & NJ.

This was one of the last fierce performances of Rhiannon. I always wondered how she was able to pull it off on stage with the bad asthma that night. Rerecord the vocals, of course! :woohoo:

This was the "Welcome To My World" live radio broadcast. I have this on CD. Yes it's Rick Vito singing with her. It's the same band from the Blue Denim video. SA was the only time she played this live.

There isn´t anything to download:shrug: , after I stated that Stevie sang The Chain on SA tour, I always want to hear it. It must be great. I think that in 1994 Stevie had amazing voice.
