This has been nagging me for a long time now. Is it "look at me go!", "let her go!", or "little girl!" or something else? And why is it there?

I've always heard it as "keep it up" (to Mick, meaning to not slow down or stop). It's a pretty big clue as to the studio version of "World Turning" being recorded basically "live in studio"...and in a bit of a rush, since "flaws" like that wouldn't be tolerated by Lindsey very long after that.

interesting, i've always heard "pick it up" since mick seems to increase the tempo just slightly. could go either way, though.

Now that you mention it, "pick it up" seems more like it.

To me, it's always sounded like an excited yelp -- not actual words.

I gotta agree with Sorta Savage Like because it does sound like either "little girl" or "let her go" but I think its more likely "Little girl". That's how I always heard it. I listened to it in itunes with the vocal channels cranked and it sounds like i initially heard it. "Little girl". Maybe LB has those crystal visions too and got excited about having a daughter one day!::shrug:
