Have you guys read this before? It is from Gary Hodges, the same guy responsible for us having the recent Buckingham Nicks live songs.
I recall one evening sitting at the house with Stevie, waiting for Lindsey to come on in from somewhere, and the tv was on. We were sitting in the living room and it was after dark. Well, I just looked up and over toward Stevie and it shocked me to see this huge aura or glow coming from her… it nearly took my breath away as she was staring at me, and there was light in her eyes and face like nothing I had ever seen before. It was like a religious experience or something. This image has stayed with me… you have heard Mick speak of her "aura" or glow… but I felt she was revealing herself, her true being , and very deep and beautiful it was to behold. I was a little scared at first, it overwhelmed me a bit ,and I said to her, "STEVIE,YOU HAVE THIS BEAUTIFUL GLOW AND LIGHT COMING FROM YOU…" and she just looked at me and then got up and went upstairs. I sat there kinda dumbfounded as if I had just seen Jesus or something.

When was this, 1973? ****, I bet a lot of rock musicians in those days saw all kinds of auras and crazy lights coming out of all kinds of different people.

Uhmm, k so how about a scientific explanation?
Remember this was 1973 - Pre-Fleetwood Mac era - but still - the '70s.
The guy was clearly tripping on LSD, and when he said that, pre-Fleetwood Mac Stevie said to herself, "k, this guy's trippin' - let's get the f. outta here"
and so she politely extracted herself from the situation without saying a word.
Personally I think she handled herself very well there....
And it is true that seeing "auras" around people is one of the effects of LSD. I don't doubt that there is "magic all around her," but in my opinion, go with the "most likely" explanation first - this was the 70s; the guy was tripping; Stevie realized it and left.
It's an idea, anyway.....

Sounds like dude was tripping balls .
I remember reading this in his Q&A and thinking how ridiculous it was that he was trying to pass off an old acid flashback as a sober, real-life episode .

First, Brian J - hilarious.
People, pot doesn't make you see weird sh*t. And it was even weaker back then, studies show.
Don't you think he would have said something if he was tripping? I mean, it's a total cliche to say it was a flashback or dope. Surely this person knows that. And I'm sure he would be smart enough to know if he was tripping or not at the time.
That excerpt would certainly explains why "everybody likes Stevie Nicks". (I'm quoting myself, here).
People, pot doesn't make you see weird sh*t.
Sure it can. It's certainly not likely, but I know a few people have seen some weird **** while high. Sometimes you just start tripping balls...

You don't "see" weird ****, you just perceive reality in a "weird ****" way.

A little, maybe. But tripping balls?
I'm just saying, I don't think it was drugs.
And Chili is right.
You don't "see" weird ****, you just perceive reality in a "weird ****" way.
Either way, Stevie Nicks glowing is far from the weirdest **** one might perceive while blazed out of one's mind.
A little, maybe. But tripping balls?
I was in Amsterdam with a few friends back in March, and after stopping in a coffeeshop, we all went to an Indonesian restaurant for dinner. One of my friends who had ingested a space muffin and some space cake as her appetizer swears she saw/thought/perceived/whatever that the chicken on her plate was suddenly a dead sparrow or something, and she couldn't finish eating it. She turned to me at one point and whispered, really pitifully, "Jim, I'm tripping balls over here!" It was really sad in an incredibly hilarious way. (And no, nobody sneaked anything into her space cake, because another friend had eaten the same thing.)

).
I had a roommate once who used to do LSD - he was utterly, totally 100% incapable of distinguishing reality from hallucinations he had seen while tripping. There's reasons why it's illegal i.m.o.
It's VERY seductive but not real.

I think maybe it depends on "personality type" - some people are more likely to interpret things in certain ways. i.m.o. this guy had a habit of believing unreal things were real because he had a "predisposition" to want reality to be that way in the first place. Then again, scientists have recently discovered that 90% of the Universe is this stuff called Black Energy and Black Matter, and we don't even know what that is, so what the f. do I know?
