I don't remember, but I love her hair like that. Two-tone hair and wild. Very cool. Loved it when Sara Jessica Parker wore it like that on Sex and the City.

I like the two-tone but I HATE the style. Or, does that go without saying?

The hair confuses me. Is that really from the late 80s?
It was a rather cool interview though.

It was a rather cool interview though. It's from 1984. It's what Stevie probably would have looked like had she toured that year, I would imagine. It's hard to tell because there wasn't much Stevie that year--Solid Gold, this MTV interview & that's about it, except for some great audio like "Sorcerer" & "Violet & Blue."

Ah yes. That does make sense.
I thought it was from maybe 87 because I saw it in a piece that had mostly 87 interviews. And I was there going "Where's the fabulous hair gone?!"
Not that it wasn't fabulous, of course. :o :wavey:

The only other things I know about 1984 are that she went to the premiere of Purple Rain and that she went to the American Music Awards. 1984 is like the mystery year. If I could know only one thing, I would want to know the full story behind the canceled album that year.

The only other things I know about 1984 are that she went to the premiere of Purple Rain and that she went to the American Music Awards.Yeah, here's what I know:
January 16, 1984...........Stevie attends the 11th Annual American Music Awards
May 12, 1984................Stevie performs at the opening of the Starck Club in Dallas
May 14, 1984................Stevie & Mick attend the 19th Academy of Country Music Awards
July 26, 1984................ Stevie & Lindsey attend (separately) the Purple Rain premiere in Hollywood
And then I don't know of any appearances until the following:
May 23, 1985.................Stevie performs at a Les Dudek gig at the Bodega Bay Club
July 30, 1985..................Stevie performs at a Tom Petty & Heartbreakers concert at Compton Terrace in Tempe AZ
September 17, 1985.........Stevie performs at the Mulholland Tomorrow fundraiser at Universal Amphitheatre in Los Angeles
September 19, 1985..........Stevie performs at the Sanctuary fundraiser in Tucson AZ
If I could know only one thing, I would want to know the full story behind the canceled album that year.I don't know about the album. All I know is I was gearing up for the planned Stevie Nicks & David Bowie festival at Anaheim Stadium, followed by a tour with Julian Lennon opening.
I wish Brian Townley, who attended the Starck Club gig & who still hangs out in the online fan group, had taped that show & passed it around. Why didn't you, Brian? Didn't you know that would be the only full concert set Stevie would do that entire year?
