I loved her on TV's Bloopers & Practical Jokes! The way her and Mick had Lindsey convinced that 'Go Insane' had gone platinum was PRICELESS! And then when Dick Clark & Ed McMahon came out and revealed it was all just a larf -- the look on Liddy Buck's face! Hoo-boy! I laughed for days and days.

 I saw that too and I'll never forget it! I think it scarred ol' Linds for life. Probably why it takes him forever to come out with a new album. You know the striving for perfection thing, wanting to get it just right so it will sell millions. Awwwwwwww......

Is Sally Jesse Raphael still alive?

I have never seen the episode of Sally Jesse Raphael she was on, but I read a transcript once. The show was something like "My daughter dresses like a hoochie mama!" The kids were being bratty saying "I'ma dress how I wanna dress! It's my body!" Stevie was trying to explain how covering yourself up more actually enhances your mystique and makes you more desirable. They just rolled their eyes.

I'm afraid not. After her talk show was cancelled, the only job she could find was covering odd news stories for a low power Fox affiliate in Omaha. They sent her out to cover a solar eclipse, and she mistakenly looked directly at the sun without any facial protection. Poor thing. The sun's corona was amplified through her trademark glasses, and holes were burned into her brain, completely through the back of her head. I believe the charred remains of said spectacles are now in the Smithsonian, or at the least there is a grassroots campaign in Nebraska to have them placed there.

:( :distress: :(
