Went to Scarborough Faire today (part of my birthday gift from my parents). It was a nice day (warmish in the sun, but otherwise a very nice day) and I had fun. I dressed as a gypsy/fortune teller and got a couple of compliments on my shawl. :) I also got to see my "crush" again...Duncan Pace from London Broil. He's the one in the striped pants in the photo of them and me. I look like a total goober. :rolleyes: Gah, he has the most gorgeous blue eyes.

Bought a small, pewter sword and one of those metal spinning things that I'll hang outside, ate fish and chips and saw some fun shows.

OH, I also saw Rhiannon. Yeah, she's selling oils and incense there. :laugh:

hey Christy..that looks like fun! The only thing is..the weathers all wrong..it should be dull, grey, and miserable... then it would look more authentic!!:lol:
Your costume fits right in there :cool: and I love the wizard guy.Glad you enjoyed it.

I am SO jealous! We have Renaissance Faires but Scarborough Faire, thats just awesome! Great pictures thanks for sharing :)

That's really funny you know that guy because I've partied with him before. I was hanging out with a guy that worked at the fair here in NC, and Duncan & those guys were at the NC one at the same time, and came to the noodle wrestling party I got myself talked into participating in. So he (Duncan) definitely saw me at one of my most insane moments in life. I'll have to see if he ended up in any of my pics. He was definitely a spectator, ha ha!

Those guys are really fun, hee. :lol:

I *WISH* I knew him. ;) That's hilarious you partied with those guys. That's cool to hear they are fun even when not on the stage. :) I love them and Don Juan/Miguel...hysterical.
