Congratulations!
I'm going to see him in Manchester in November.
I got my tickets the minute they went on sale on Sunday morning. I think most of the UK venues were sold out within the hour.
I only found out by chance. He was on Parkinson on Saturday night (performed a fantastic "Everything She Wants") and he mentioned he was touring his own material for the first time in 18 years. I checked on the net and found out the tickets went onsale the following morning. :)
** You can see some of George's interview with Parkinson at this link http://parkinson.tangozebra.com/video_clips.phtml?show_id=50 :wavey:

That interview was great. I'd never seen him do an interview before, and he was so sarcastic and funny! And he sang brilliantly, he's looking and sounding really well.
Only my Mum told me he was on Parkinson I wouldn't have found out either. I took off Irish class first thing today to stay home and book my tickets.
Can't wait to see what the setlist will be like.

Congrats on getting a ticket to see him in concert. HE is fantastic on stage and gives a great singing performance. Gives his all:xoxo: I saw him during his Faith era when hubby and I lived in Frankfurt, Germany in the late 80's and even got to touch those boots with the silver toe/heel as he ran and stopped by me. Not as great as touching Stevie's legwarmers:angel:  but still exciting to be so close to the stage:] I wish him good luck and he is a wonderful singer/songwriter.

considering the problems the poor man has, Im glad to see people still want to hear his music. His talent never went away....I just hope he can overcome his issues.

Not that anyone cares, but whatever happened to Andrew Ridgley, the "Other Guy."

He retired from the business and spends his days surfing now... Nice to be able to retire in your twenties!

Didn't he give it a go as a race car driver for a bit?

I know ... I got the ticket at 9 in the morning, and looked them up that evening, and was appalled at the prices.
Then I realised they were in pounts sterling, not euro .... ! :distress:
