I was cleaning out a drawer this weekend and found a copy of the initial article I had downloaded from the net (a year ago, maybe?) I had been following her story--things did not look good for her after she was initially found. When she had been treated and fitted with her doggy wheels--I printed out her picture because I thought she was just magnificent. There are few critters more regal than a German Shephard and I loved this one's spirit.

I actually had assumed she had been adopted at that time--but I guess not. Hopefully, she will have a permanent home really soon.

I'm glad you gave us this link, David. A small donation is a nice way to acknowledge Sara.
