Oh zoot...:( I know he was from ages ago, but I had seen him in concert a while back and he was excellent, still had a great voice. A real entertainer, going to be missed...

My father absolutley LOVES Gene Pitney - he is absolutley gutted :(

At about 5.30 am all the whole house could hear was 'Noooo' :lol:

My mother and my uncle are both huge Pitney fans... they're both really bummed out.

Whipper-snapper that I am, I've always preferred Cyndi Lauper's version of "I'm Gonna Be Strong," to his... but he was definitely a talented man.
