Can anyone recommend software to import digital photos to a PC? I have one of those Kodak EasyShare cameras, and their software absolutely, completely SUCKS.
I need something free & compatible with Win98, if anyone has any ideas...

I have an Easy Share also, but with a camera dock. The pix download through dock. Once downloaded, I use Photo Studio to alter (red eye, crop and much more) the photos. Does this help?

Yes - that's exactly what I'm trying to do. I have a camera dock/printer also. I want to import the pics from the camera (on the dock) into a software other than the sh*tty EasyShare software.
PhotoStudio you say? I'll check it out - thanks!

What the hell? I have fujipix or something, and it is totally easy. Though, admittedly, I haven't tried to edit my pics. MMMkay, nevermind? I just wanted to talk to you cause I'm so glad you are here.... :xoxo:
MY photos come out fab, though - and I've never photogged before this new digital cam. In fact, I would venture to say I'm a bad photographer with good scenery.

I have a Kodak Easy Share and a Pentax Optio. I just put the SD card in my printer and then do any editing with Photoshop Elements 2.0 which is actually an old program. Not sure if that would work with Win98, however.

Thanks for the info! I had an older version of PhotoShop, but it didn't want to make friends with the new camera.
I actually found a pretty cool (& free!) program called XnView. If anyone's interested in checking it out: http://www.xnview.com It does all the photo stuff, plus lets you view vids & pdfs too. And maybe a few other things, well see.
And Amber: :xoxo: - but you really must stop the flirting. I'm gay. GAY!
