View Full Version : who do you look like?

I thought about this when responding to the Murph thread in the Stevie forum. When I was younger, in my teens, I used to get Chris O'Donnell (and that is A OK with me) and even almost had a spot as his stand-in for the movie The Chamber. But I also get Edward Norton all the time. That totally grosses me out. I will give him points for how he looked in Fight Club and American History X. I was at the Cher show a couple years back and there two old ladies whispering and looking at me for like 10 minutes. Finally, I turned around and said "hello". They were like "we thought you were the boy from Primal Fear".
So, who do you look like?

I look like some guy named Mike.
Seriously, it's really weird. If I've been called by the wrong name.........300 times in my life, I've been called "Mike" 285 of those times(and I'm not exaggerating here). It happened again last week. I just start laughing now, when they call me Mike. HOW COULD THAT MANY PEOPLE LINK AN UNKNOWN FACE TO A NAME? Doesn't anyone else think this is extremely weird?
Whatever a guy named Mike looks like.........I'm IT!

Someone once told me I looked like Mayim Balik (Blossom.)
Dude, you are so much more attractive than her. I mean seriously, was that person on crack or what?
People have told me I look like Drew Barrymore and Meg Ryan. Those two look nothing alike, so  But anyway, this one guy I used to see around campus all the time would walk by and call me "Drew." It grew annoying to say the least.
When my hair was short I was ALWAYS getting compared to Meg. I don't think I look like her, but hey, I guess I can take it as a compliment, except for the silicone injected lips...I do NOT have those

Oh, I've been told I look like Steffi Graff (sp) too.

I don't think she's hideous either, but all I can think of is that show Blossom, and well, wasn't she like 13 on that show? You certainly don't look like a goofy 13 year old! And what was up with that Joey guy? :shudders:
I think Steffi Graff is really attractive! She's got an awesome, athletic body that's for sure

I 've been told that I look like Jennifer Aniston.
I can see there are some similarities, but I don't really look like her. It's mostly the facial expressions and the hair (until a couple of weeks ago it was very long and blond-now it's a bit darker ).
What's his name...Pacey from Dawson's Creek. Oh yeah, Joshua Jackson I think. I used to get that a lot, especially in high school. Not sure if it still holds true...and not sure if I'm supposed to take it as a compliment or not!

When I was younger (and thinner) people would tell me I looked like Anthony Perkins.
Well, two of my teachers told me I looked like Anthony Perkins. Other people would come up to me at parties and say I looked like "the guy from Psycho". I usually said something like, "Mother doesn't like it when people say that". I usually got a blank stare - most of them hadn't actually watched Psycho, but somehow thought I looked like Norman/Anthony.
Other than that, when I worked at one of the Courts here in Melbourne, Judge's staff would tell me I looked remarkably like a Barrister from Sydney who had the same name as me - that was a bit spooky.

I was in a pub once and some guy bumped into me and said, "F***ing hell, it's John Lennon!" and several people have said much the same, perhaps without the expletive. I don't really see it, but my brother was accosted at the races once by a girl who asked for his autograph - he'd had similar experiences to me, so he signed as Julian Lennon and the girl was ecstatic

I think Suze kinda looks like Myrna Loy.
But anyways, someone is always telling me I remind them of someone else. I think because I'm pretty plain and regular, brown/brownish, I could look like anyone. Last week some girl in my class told me I totally remind her of the girl from CSI. I don't really watch CSI, but it's Sara Sidle.

Thanks, I just checked her out at IMDB and do see some similarities. Same shaped face, hairline, eyes, mouth. Her eyes are more widely set though and she's got a little nose. Beautiful lady though so a flattering comparison. One of the pics I saw of her reminded me of Debra Messing actually.

Usually, I get Debbie Harry:

Yeah, the problem is she went back to the drugs. Then gained a bunch of weight getting off them. She seems back at a normal weight though and is clean per court order. Unfortunately she's had too much plastic surgery and doesn't even look like herself. Her nose is starting to look funny and the lips. :distress: I think you can even see some scarring on her nose in the photo below. Courtney, no more surgery please, remember Michael Jackson!
Here's an article from http://www.nme.com/news/courtney-love/22499
Exclusive - Courtney Love returns to the studio
The former-Hole star dismisses tabloid rumors as she goes back to work
Courtney Love has entered a Los Angeles studio to begin work on a new solo album.
Following her brief trip to London last week during which she checked out Dirty Pretty Things at Kings College (March 8), Love told NME.COM she's starting pre-production on her second solo album with producer Linda Perry this week.
The main recording of the as yet untitled effort will take place in April with Perry producing the bulk. Billy Corgan is also set to produce a handful of her new tracks.
Discussing the songs she is considering for her upcoming record Love said: "I don't generally talk about what the songs are about, but I will say that in the gutters of this earth you can always find love. In the darkest alley and [during] the lowest moment there is always that thing that glitters just a little bit, no matter how twisted or deadly or violent. It's there magical and transformative. I've written a lot about that."
However she laughed-off suggestions that this could include comedian Steve Coogan, who she was linked with again in weekend news reports.
"We're friends and he's funny as **** and very cool. But he's not my boyfriend and if he was I sure as hell would never talk about it," she declared, adding the coverage had upset her. "My private life is my private life. I'll say one thing. I'm ****ing sick of ****ing tabloids, I don't talk to them and I don't like them."
She added that since working with Jim Carrey on the 1999 film 'Man On The Moon' about comedian Andy Kaufman, she had found herself more inspired by comics than rock stars.
"Ever since I worked with Jim Carrey I've related really well to comedians," she said. "I think our jobs are really similar and I'm drawn to people as friends who aren't afraid to go to the edge. A lot of times rockers are trying to be cool so much they forget that the fundamental job is to be as vulnerable as possible. Really good comedians are sometimes more rock 'n' roll than rock 'n' rollers."
Love declared that this now included 'Little Britain''s Matt Lucas and David Walliams, whom she met on her recent London trip, revealing: "I have a 'Fat Fighters' sticker on my guitar!"
