The New Yorker published a "look" at Bill O'Reilly:

I had no idea there was a feud between him & Keith Olbermann.

Billy O. feuds with everyone. Thus, he really Billy McCoy :wavey:

Yup - Olbermann calls B.O. on his crap, almost nightly. And B.O. started an online petition to have Phil Donahue replace Keith, which was promptly flooded with pro-Keith signees and which Keith (and all the Countdown & MSNBC employees available in the building) signed on-air!
That's why I whipped up this:
http://users4.ev1.net/~iansnana/countdownbanner.jpg
And Crooks & Liars has most of the feuding video on their site, if you're really interested: http://www.crooksandliars.com
Also, he just surpassed CNN in his show's ratings, and is closing on B.O. (who's lost 40% of his viewers - hopefully they've wised up & aren't just tuning in to American Idol instead...).

I don't watch either of them. I just hear O'Reilley's rediculous statements replayed on Stephanie Miller's "Right Wing World".

I'm terrible at remembering details but one of his latest was that if someone said about him what they said about the president he would lay them out. This someone happened to be an older woman! He's big on the tough guy shtick.

It was about Helen Thomas who is 82. I'm just laughing re-listening to it from Steph's website. You can hear it here http://www.stephaniemiller.com/show/ It's the Right Wing World link under March 28th and the segment begins at 2:50. He really is a self-parody. I think this link will start the dowload http://www.stephaniemiller.com/bits/2006_0328_rww.mp3

i read that article a few weeks ago. it actually made me want to watch him and see if my perception of him is unfounded.

Olbermann's show is great... sometimes almost as funny as the Daily Show... check it out if you get a chance. BTW, I'm in love with Stephanie Miller!

Exactly.
Countdown is just this side of satire. And Olbermann may be grating at times when he gets worked up, but he's never afraid to poke fun at himself OR admit when he makes a mistake and apologize. That's the big difference.
Plus, there are constant Simpsons references. And he likes Stevie. Do you people need any other reason to watch?

Did you know BO lives her, or at least FM, as well - there was some press about him going backstage at, I think, one of the NYC or NJ SYW shows.

Yikes. Sounds like it's time for FM to fire all their security.
EDIT: On second thought, he probably just had to come backstage to change his diaper. Just like Madonna had to with Lola on The Dance tour...

 I love that woman. She told Colmes to go easy on him because he's one of very few people who believes the WMDs were moved to Syria. I think she was insinuating that Sean is feeble minded or something.
It's up on her site: http://www.stephaniemiller.com/show/
Omigod, the banner is crazy "TED TURNER EXPLODES". Actually, Turner was just talking about the president and his lack of training for his job such as not having travelled outside of the country but once before he was president.
I think Hannity loves Stephanie, haha. He called her a great liberal American and told her not to change.

There's a new book out about him that sounds hilarious. Franken is having fun with the authors right now.

Keith likes Stevie? Really? I've never heard him say that! I'm a big fan of KO's too. I love Countdown. It's the one news show that's "must see" for me. O'Reilly is a tool who has made the mistake of believing his own PR. Then again, I have little use for anyone on Faux.

Last night, Keith was doing a segment on Bangkok (I think), talking about how the three-story buildings were "one-stop shopping" for sex. They have strip clubs on the ground floor, rooms on the second floor to which you can take the prostitutes, and VD clinics on the top floor. He closed the piece with the comment "It's true, just ask Mr. O'Reilly."
It was great!
