I hope it's not so dreadfully edited as last years'.

They left Bob Welch out, so I have no interest in the R&RHOcrap.

"Bob Welch saved Fleetwood Mac". Mick said it, yet didn't see to Bob's inclusion. Mick's a Dick.

I watched most of it. I hate that everything's edited down. I mean, I'm sure the actual ceremony is like 4 hours long, but I can't stand that they have the artists' speeches going on over their live performances.

Blondie - I'm a casual fan, nothing more. I loved "Call Me" but I thought "Rapture" sounded like crap. :sorry: Debbie not letting the other members play was uber-bitchy, but I'd be pretty pissed if they had sued me too, so whatever...

Sabbath - I actually missed the speeches (have to watch it back on Tivo later) but I caught Metallica tearing up "Iron Man." Ho****, that was good.

Skynyrd - I f*cking LOVE this band. I don't care that they're redneck, or white trash, or whatever people may think. I love them. I love their songs. I love that they're still around touring every summer even though half the members are dead. I love that they played the **** out of "Sweet Home Alabama" and "Free Bird." The guitar solos at the end of "Free Bird" gave me chills, I swear. And the fact that Ronnie's kids & grandaughter were up there made me tear up. Oh, and I love that the drummer's name is Artymus Pyle. Not sure why.

I really didn't pay attention to the rest of the show & inductees (I know, bad music fan, horrible person) but I do plan on watching it again. So there.
