Favorite commercial?

I just love the one for Meow Mix at least I think that is what it is for. Anyway it involves a lady on the phone with her mother. She says to the mother “I can’t believe how big he is getting” and she says something like say ‘Hi to Grandma” and it is not a child but an adorable little kitten who goes ‘meow” into the telephone. I love that commercial!

Along the same lines, my fave commerical lately is the Pet Smart commercial with the dachshund getting his new toy .... He is so happy that they have to scan the dog with the toy in his mouth because he won't let it go ....

reminds me of my puppy ....... :)

I have not seen that one but anything with pets in it is a good bet for a great ad.
I watch TV at lunchtime 1:00PM and the worst commercials are anything that involves personal hygiene products, medicine that either assists or prevents certain bodily functions and yes the drug ones that mention all of those nasty side effects.:rolleyes:
the 1 of those that just bugs me is for some type of a diet pill & it says that it makes the "fat" you eat go "right thru you", then at the end they say the side effect real fast & one of them is you lose the ability to hold your let's just say...BM while using this product~ well hell yeah, that alone makes me wanna go out & buy...:rolleyes: :lol: damn fools~

The best advert I have ever seen is called The Cog. It's an ad for the Honda Accord. It tooks months to film and was eventually done in a single take with no editing or special effects.

i can't even honestly add to this thread. the only tv i watch at home i tape - so i fast-forward through the commercials. at work, even though i have two tv's on beside me all day, i very successfully tune out commercials, and listen only to the news. then we watch our own newscast at night on the studio feed, so we don't get the ads! :)

however, during the olympics, which i had on beside me at work all day, i can say there was a HORRIBLE commercial on canadian tv for yogourt. it was so irritating that i vowed right then and there i will never buy the brand. it was on ALL the time. it had me diving for the tv to turn it down.

I hate all commercials & I don't watch commercial programming because I despise the interruptions. I have no idea what this season's shows are, or last season's or the season before.

But I do sort of chuckle when I happen across the Geico gecko.

I've never seen that Honda commercial, but that was awesome!

One of my faves is the cellphone commercial when that old guy is sitting in his office, with his assistant (?) and he goes "It's my way of sticking it to the Man." The assistant goes "But, you...are the man." "Yes." "So, you're stickin' it to yourself." There is a pause...then the old man goes..."Maybe." I quote along with it every dang time I see it.

My fave of alllll time is this Aiwa commercial:

YES! It's the way he says the words, plus the accent. I don't know why, but I love it too! "'Course they want pie & chips...it's pie, and chips, and it's FREE!"

I am also guilty of liking the Jimmy Dean sausage commercials - the one with the guy who's supposed to be the sun?

Yeah, the funniest thing though, is that that guy is Swedish (they love to rip on the Germans)! Remember him from Fargo and The Big Lebowski? In TBL he played one of the German nihilists.

It's an ad campaign from an auto group out in Wa or Or and it is called Surbaban Auto Group (I thinK)..anyway- every car you buy from them comes with a "new " security system...
(It has a red button the driver pushes in an emergency and it is called...Trunk Monkey)
Anyway the trunk opens and out comes the monkey.
It is totally halarious, and they have like 6 different ads you can watch at that website...Let me know what you think...
