Ok kids. For the second time in a week, my alarm clock has woken me up to Stevie. A few days ago I awoke to Stand Back and then this morning the radio was playing Landslide (from The Dance) when I woke up. Someone please conjur up your Stevie mysticicm and universal insight and tell me what it all means.....

It means that it's BREAKFAST time, and time for COFFEE! That "Good-to-the-last-drop feeling, Maxwell House!" The fun begins at SUNRISE - old people tend to FORGET this concept so be sure to remind them EVERY day!
(Oh, and it's also because Stevie has some sort of mystical heaven-inspired ethereal spiritual connection going on which transcends space, time, matter, and all earthly boundaries... )
Oh, and it also means that it's time to get up and go to work or school or whatever...

That happens to me fairly regularly as well. Most recently it was gypsy. Although I'd like to attach otherworldly psychic mystical fate type properties to this phenomena, I've decided it's usually chance. I save the aforementioned for when I win Stevie/Mac things off the radio.

OMG....you don't know how much I miss Austin!!!! LA is great, but I long for Trudy's, Town Lake, Eyeore's Birthday, Marley Fest, the Green Belt, Fourth Street...*sigh* But it's good to know that Stevie followed me out here via my alarm clock!
It means the Music Director isn't doing their job. Stations aren't supposed to play the same artist/song at the same time, because people traditionally listen to radio at the same time.
Of course, in this case, it's a good thing. If it was say...Britney Spears...two mornings in a row, you'd be pissed. I'm trying to get into radio so I've learned these things.

I'm thinking you're right....this morning I woke up to Gold Dust Woman. So all you LA Ledgies out there, tune into Jack FM in the morning for your dose of Stevie.

Unless the station is owned by Clear Channel.
One station here regularly plays "Whenever I Call You Friend." I hear it almost every week.
