Yeah, they might have been strict with the cameras because the show was being filmed for TV. I don't know. They stripped us of even our cell phones at LB's Soundstage taping.
Do you know if Heart is coming back to the Northeast again? All I saw was FL and CA and WA on their site.

I think the closest to you will be the Verona, NY show, the AC show, and the PA show...all in August 11, 12, 13...

Here it is...
So arrived at the Taj Decades Rock Live Arena at 8:30...let me describe my view: GRUNGE and GOTH! Now I knew that Alice In Chains was going to be there and I was familiar with one or two songs: Rooster and Would? But I didn't think that this was their style...even on stage they weren't dress like the fans... Basically, the whole arena was all AIC. I think the only reason Heart soldout was because AIC was there... But On to the show:
So at about 9:15 the lights went down and Decades Rock Live Producer, Barry Summers, came on stage, which is pushed far back with tv's all around and a lot of lights and has a pit where fans stand and has a walkway around it...which was not used:laugh: and welcomed us and mentioned how DRL was the hottest concert series. He said that tonight he was making Rock history because he was bringing Seattle's best music to an AC stage... so he introduced the warm-up: AIC Crowd interaction: F****n wild!!!
They opened up with Angry chair with members Jerry cantrell, Mike Inez(who is the current bassist for Heart), with new member William Duvall on lead vocals and Duff McKagan on guitar. William Duvall was very energetic and boxed during the songs. Jerry said it's great to be back and the ovations were crazy!!! After that they did Man In the Box with images of men in boxes in the background. Then came Would? as the closer but after Would?, Mike Inez through his bass across the stage, which was uncalled for and they had to do MITB and Would? again...with twice the enthusiasm!
When they finished, they said that they would be back later and Barry Summers came on stage and showed us highlights of some past DRL performances such as The DOORS, Bonnie Raitt, and Cyndi Lauper and then showed us Gretchen Wilson's pre-taped performance with Heart from Thursday night. They did When I Think About Cheating which was a nice slow country ballad where Ann and Gretchen really put there hearts into, then they did Even It Up which was really good with Ann and Gretchen I loved how they both sang"Even It Up, Even It Up..." Then they did Rock and Roll and let me tell you for a country singer, Gretchen f****n rocked on this one and Ann's wails before where Stevie would do her tambo toss was incredible!
After that, we were told that most of us would be on tv and we had to keep our cheers up. My girls were introduced, they came on: Ann with her silver-buttoned long hemed coat, black top, tight black pants, white and black sneaks, and the top of her hair pulled up in a wild bun and a black acoustic guitar and Nancy in her felt black jacket with a Partridge family shirt underneath and jeans bothed kicked off the night with an awesome cover of Led Zep's battle of Evermore...which had great echoes by the both of them. Then, they said that tonight was going to be an amazing night and they then did JD's Lost Angel which was really powerful. Then, we got an acoustic version of These Dreams with a mandolin which I was not crazy about. It was funny how nancy introduced it though:"Here's a love song for yaalsies "
Then, Ann introduced the first guest as good looking and a great guitar player...DAVE VNAVARRO!!! He gave us one of the best versions of Bebe Le Strange. Ann was playing tough girl for this one. Straight On came next with a great intro. Suddenly, Nancy and Dave slam right into Crazy On You with one of the best versions I've ever heard. Nancy kicked her leg up way higher than Stevie and even scissored and crisscrossed her legs. Ann belted out Sweet Flowin' LOVE!!!!!!!!! The end had FULL POWER! Dave left and Rufus Wainwright came on. he did one of his songs with them...sorry, can't tell you what it was...I have no idea. Then all I know is that he completely butchered Dog & Butterfly, one of my favorite songs, and it sounded lik Michael Jackson was singing it:laugh: You could only imagine what that was like! When Ann started singing, me and the rest of the crowd were cheering like crazy! After that there was a setup break, and Ann came back, I think, with a longer coat on, and did Alone. Right before" You don't know how long..." Carrie Underwood came out and sang the rest of it with them. Her and Ann were putting their souls into it...especially Ann. Carrie then thanked heart for having her with them and saying how much of an honor it was to be sharing the stage with them that night...which i thought was really nice.
Then Ann grabbed her tambo and started banging it to carrie's "that's Where It Is." We then sang happy 23rd to Carrie and shew blew out the candles on her onstage cake and left. Ann got her flute and one of my favorite songs was played, Love Alive. Ledgies, you are going to love this song once you see the show on VH1. Another setup break. Ann introduced Alice In Chains and said how great it was for them to be backed together and they played my favorite AIC song, Rooster. All I can say is that Ann's background vocals were incredible...she absolutely blew me away. It was cute when William Duvall was holding Ann...cute couple:laugh: Setup break. Magic Man...WOW!!! Ann was howlin'! A really rockin' version with Ann really active. AIC and Dave enter: Barracuda with 5 guitars!!! Best song of the night! Best version of Barracuda...hands down...best ever!!!! Kicks and jumps...phew!!! Some weird guy jumps on stage...security drags him right off:laugh: AIC leaves and Ann starts"Hey Baby see the way you move gonna make you sweat...gonna make you groove...Hands up in the air and head banging by Ann...she was really groovin' Friday night:laugh: MISTY MOUNTAIN HOP...WOOHOOOO!!!! I was hoping I would get this one...Ann and Dave were great. he was jumping on the drumset...She was walikng really fast and shaking her self...my sexy Annie:laugh: Dave left after this and Anne told him to get a room:laugh: He told Ann that she was sexy. He's looking for a Demi/Ashton thing:laugh:
Ann gets her ukulele and closes with the journey of Dreamboat Annie... She made me cry with that ukulele...it was so beautiful. She thanked us and rode away on the diamond waves. I love you girls and I'll see you in August!!!

Did anyone see Wynonna on Larry King, Friday night? She was talking about doing that TV special with Heart,..........and he'd never heard of Heart! She said, "you've never heard of Heart?" He said "no", and you could tell she had a hard time not laughing at him.
Larry must not get out much....
