What to do???

I have payed a member of these boards for a magazine article that she was to send to me, but that was 3 months ago and I haven't received anything or heard from her though I've sent a bunch of messages and I know she must have read them as I see her logged in often. Now, it's made me very sad because I was really looking forward to receiving it and I feel cheated. Can anyone give some advice on what do do? Do I keep sending messages or just give up? :(

That seriously blows.

The really sucky part is the messages....that are unanswered.

Is there a Ledgie you trust that also knows this person? Perhaps they may be able to act as a moderator between you two via private messages or something?

Maybe for some odd reason they really haven't checked their messages? Perhaps this thread will strike a chord with this person and they'll send you the article?

I hope it all gets taken care of - and I truly hope it's just an honest mistake on the part of the person who got your money. Good luck!

Yeah, That could be too. I have had that happen to me and I have done the same. Sometimes I get the message when I am busy and I forget about it later. Has this person been very busy lately? Maybe that could be a reason.

If it makes you feel any better I am still waiting for someone to send me their end of a trade since September.

Thanks you guys for replying. I guess she could be extremely busy...but somehow that seems a bit strange considering the numbers of messages I've sent and also I did start a thread on the boards directed to her trying to get her attention as I thought the same as you did, maybe she hadn't seen my messages or her inbox was full or something...but nothing. I did talk to another person who had bought something from her and had gotten the item but a bit delayed, due to the shipping taking so long or that's what she said...but even so this person had gotten the item within a month. I mean, I'd understand if something had happened to the package during shipping or I could even put up with a delay on her end because of whatever reason but what bugs me is that she doesn't respond to my messages...

I met up with Jayne at a lot of the Aussie Gold Dust shows & she is a really nice person :D Thats why I am so shocked! :eek:

I just read through this thread, and i do want everyone to know that i certianly didn't ignore any posts, it was only because i received a direct email did i know what was going on and that there was a thread about Emma's situation... Tis true that i've been flat out :nod: , but Emma and i had the magazine thing at the end of December so thats way before the shows...

And i want to also note that according to my INBOX the only msg i've received from Emmiline was 3/5/06 or 5th of March... So this stack of msg's spoken of i dont know about... :shrug:

Emma i did send you your Womens Weekly magazine, i cannot remember the exact date but it was either just before christmas or just after. It has not been returned to me and if it had i would of been in contact with you that day. What to do from here?? So yes i have been really flat out, but the reason i couldn't get online for the last 2 weeks was because my computer at home got a virus.. from when my mum was house sitting (while i was away going to stevie concerts around the country)and did something wrong and my computer shat itself, so i've got to get around to reformatting it :shocked: , and at work where i normally try to do all my posting i've had a lot on my plate and just haven't been online, and if i have its been for like 2 minutes i think maybe two times and i haven't checked my inbox so there's been a few i haven't responded too along with Emma's so i have not been ignoring hers. Hope this makes sense...
